I was so sick of the hype from this game but got it on PC last weekend for 23.99 on sale.
To my surprise it's better than I thought it would be. I love the old school unreal/quake feel it has with the pace and double jumping.
Yep the 670 is about mid range at stock. Nothing to be worried about since they OC like animals and are still great cards.

Definitely.. 30 fps is criminal in a racing game. Well its a crime in any game in my world but its sacrilege in a racing game.
Look at all you fanboi's fighting over a few pixels when both versions are clear down grades running sub 1080p at at lousy 30fps and look about as good as each other. lol woo hoo for next gen. Serious disappointment.

The lighting engine is looking pretty tired.
In some lighting conditions the game looks amazing realistic. Others not so much.
Hopefully the gameplay is satisfying.

The gen of consoles are somewhat a bit of a joke to me - they still can't do the holy grail of 1080p 60fps. Its the first generation I haven't rushed out to buy a console since NES.
Well said. I don't like making concessions for either of these consoles not hitting their targets.
I'm pretty sure 4gb of VRAM per card is going to go a long way towards smashing 4k at 60fps or pretty dam close to.
His specs are totally reasonable. Maybe he uses 16gb as a RAM drive. Who knows. 2 x r290X is a nice solid high end build.
I always SLI and CF my rigs. Gotta love overkill.

I don't care if a PC costs more. I'd rather that money go on hardware I own that paying for online and get nothing..lol WTF. I want a minimum of 1080p and 60fps.
I wish the consoles had better hardware and cost more so they could run these games without being gimped all the time. Don't you get that ?
