What he said. Great points.
Moving from my PS3 and 360 but not being able to take my already purchased digital library with me is largely a deal breaker - I spent a ton of money! Also paying for online. It felt last gen 360 nickled and dimed alot. This gen I feel they both are a bit.
PC still allows me to play my favorite games from over the years. Some of these are recent gems like L4D2 which I also owned on 360 too, but now I can keep enjoying it with a massive fan ...
This is a day 1 for me. I've sunk countless hours into Killing Floor with buddies.
The problem isn't the RAM this gen. The problem is those low frequency AMD CPU's and outdated laptop GPU's.
Isn't it pretty obvious this gen will be short if they are already struggling to do 1080p 60fps. Not an attack on either consoles. It is what it is. Last gen's 360 and PS3 where practically supercomputers.
Steam don't care about an injector. 3 years they haven't cared. Steam are reasonable. They don't like cheaters or piracy.
I used to love the GT series but Forza (not Horizon arcade) has since taken the crown in my books. As far as simulations it's far more accurate than GT which still hasn't grasped the concept that acceleraters and brakes are analogue instuments.. thus require finness.
I'm looking forward to Project Racing but its the hype that's worrying me. Drive club is out of the running for me too since I cant take a 30 fps racing game seriously.
Hopefully GT7 lift...
You'll probably also like Race 2007.. brilliant sim too.
Or you could have just imported the uncut UK PAL copy as my buddies and I did. Or use the Injector patch for Steam. Either way this is a long overdue win for Ozzies.
Most people (not all) with minimal bubbles simply have a platform of preference other than PS4. I've been a regular member here since 2007 with 5 bubbles up to a couple of months ago. The new gen Sony fanboys here rather take bubbles that partake in unbiased discusions. Even if you own all the consoles.. don't dare critique the PS4's shortcomings. Its not allowed here.
That't not entirely accurate. BF4 and Crysis 3 use more than 4 cores.
I do agree though right now 4 cores and higher frequencies is the way to go unless you are using multiple GPU's.
Im interested to know the footprint of the case.
Yep. As codelyoko said. Plus with 3 cards it's best to have the extra PCI lanes that comes with LGA2011-3 CPU's. They'd run so much better than on a i5 when we're looking at a greedy 3 GPU's.
It's an increased FOV (Field of View). Consoles sometimes decrease this (Narrower) so less things needs to be drawn to screen and the game will run better.
Well said. Bubble up.

Yeah, its seems like a no brainer choice. A large majority of N4Gers are so defensive a ready to disagree with anyone who thinks it's a good idea to buy a game on any other platform besides a PS4 - its getting old.
Not having to ever re-buy a game and being able to play with increasing quality over a life time as it sits in your library seems like a wise choice to me.
Why do you feel so threatened by PC? You're forever trolling PC topics like you're sour. Is it because most games are multiplatform this gen or your console of choice isn't living up to it's promise?
Lol..I'm all for comparisons but making a 320p gif and comparing them is about as derp as it gets.
Well said. Competition favors the consumer.
Cool story . Clearly you've no idea to be claiming what's special or not.
Not sure if saying "they don't like American cars" is entirely accurate. It's more to do with Import laws, taxes, and also a healthy dose of patriotism. I have lived in Japan for 4 years now and driving here for about 3.5 years and can tell you about 1 in every 100-200 cars is American. Normally it's an exotic like Mustang or Corvette. But your general A to B American cars don't really sell here.
