Forza Motorsport 5 and 7 are within the same generation though so that's hardly a fitting comparison. GT4 and GT5 were released on 2 different generations of consoles and it showed!
At least Turn 10 decided to start the new generation from the ground up instead of shoving in 70% cars from the Xbox 360 with FM5. The number of cars took a massive hit and people moaned but at least there was no last gen filler.
Hehe. now we understand why GT5 had PS2 cars and assets, this guy was so pleased with himself he figured porting GT4 models into a PS3 was being gracious. 😂
Most widely used layout for PC controllers. Heck even some third party playstation controllers adopt this layout. I've never seen it the other way around though. No symmetrical Xbox third party controllers. Also just because a product popularized a feature does not mean 20 years later it still holds up. It's the reason I bought a CronusMAX Plus for my playstation 4

Looks like FM5 and 6 were fantastic in getting Mr Greenwald and his team ready to bring us the most complete Forza Motorsport game ever. Practice makes perfect. FM7 looks to set to become the Forza Motorsport 4 of the generation
