While I agree with the Empire City vs New Marais and the Cole's new voice, everything else seemed like bull to me. The story is better, the side missions offer way more variation, the melee is vastly improved, the new powers are awesome, not to mention those epic giant ass monsters that feels like bosses...
When I've first picked the game up, my first and only rant with it were Cole's new voice, but even if it doesn't take a candle to the old one, is not bad either and...
What an lazy review! One of the wrost I've readed in quite a while. Doesn't matter, I will get this game as soon as I possibly can!
If things keep on like this, in a few years fans will forget about FFVII and will be begging for FFVersusXIII... it might just become the 'FFVII remake' of future generations!
Anyway, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a remake since I didn't played the game back then and would like to know what all this fuss is about, but I would rather have Versus released first.
Now light a cigar and get ready for a nap. lol
Yes, I see how this could be fun for a couple of minutes or how funny it would be to impress my girlfriend with it, but after a short while, I don't imagine anyone would stick with voice commands over standard controls. It's just a gimmick, obviously.
Agree. It was really disaponting. It looks and plays just like a psn title, instead of a full retail one. Actually, Deathspank might be better, gameplay and graphics wise.
Best comment in here! LOL
And that's why I though since the beginning it should had remained a exclusive. Call it FFXIII trauma.
"Connecting your second controller and going toe-to-toe with her might seem like a good idea at first, but after you’ve spent half an hour laughing at her inadequacies whilst shooting her directly in the forehead it’s probably a safe bet that she won’t want to play with you anytime soon."
So true. I thought it was a good idea to play ModNation Racers with my girlfriend. It wasn't. The Guardian of light and LBP was, though. Want to play with your girlfriend, re...

Nice try, fanboy.

"We also learned at E3 that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will have some sort of a “New Game+” feature but not in the manner we expect. However it is intended that this feature will give the game some sort of replay value."
intriguing!
Uh, ok:

I didn't like the statue... doesn't looks a lot like Drake to me...
That trailer was amazing! It looks kind of steampunk-ish, does it not? Me likes it! x)
It looks bad. Wish it was a remade game, nor just a simple HD treatment/ port. Anyway, still might get it for MGS3 alone, which is my favorite in the series.
Yes, the girls from this game looks like ugly guys.
I love the first one. Imo it was surely on of the best and more addictive rpgs of this generation (J or Western)! Thanks to reviewers I've waited 'till it got on bargain bin to get it (I know, shame on me...) but not anymore. Part to (better looking, enhanced upon player feedback and with an free upgraded part one in the deal) will be a day one purchase!
I'm happy whith this, off course, but those games really deserved full remakes, not just hd treatment!
Wow!!! This looks NOTHING with Resident Evil! Wtf?! ¬¬
Chloe looks beautiful!
