This sucks. Sony have issues with firmware updates since ps3's early days; one would imagine that they would be so much more careful with those updates by now! I wanted to get my ps4 this month, but now I'll rather wait 'till this is fixed so I can make the jump into this new gen.
On a second note: my girlfriend had no problem at all with this update, so I know for a fact it didn't affect everyone who downloaded it.
I'm in no rush to see the Ps4 becoming what the ps3 was in terms of games. Just give it time and it will get there. People are too hasty and impatiente.
You know what? It'll be kind of funny if FFXV gets delayed eventually!
Ain't that the truth?!

Vaas seems to be way out of his league. Probably the best villain I have ever seen in a video game. In all honesty, he was the reason I was interested in Far Cry 3 in the first place: I don't usually like FPS games and I haven't ever noticed Far Cry before the 3rd one - which I've played and loved. This new villain? Meh. He might still surprise, though, obviously. Ubisoft has already proven themselves as good character writers.
Well deserved. Although, I do think it is unfair to host a gaming award before every game is out.
Ten minutes listening to this guy means guarantee headache. He's the most annoying personality on youtube, I can't understand how can he have so many fans.
So many different games, so many different experiences to settle with one best gameplay of 'em all... it'd even be unfair to name just one. A few near perfect gameplay games that come to mind are Arkham series, InFamous 1~2 (never played the 3rd), Dark Souls, anything Naughty Dog, Far Cry 3, and MGSV Ground Zeroes (complicated game mechanics from previous games were simplified and the gameplay got smoother because of this). I find it very hard to have something bad to say about any of...
I second that. In fact, if they had rebooted the whole thing and had replaced Desmond and that Animus crap by an old lady reading a book to her granddaughter, it would be just fine by me. The historical pieces and their settings are the key features of this series, so why to pretend they are secondary to the modern day part?
Well, you just missed Revelations and AC3 then, which might be the worst two entries in the franchise. But you should definitely give a chance to Black Flag: it is as good (if not better) than AC2.

I've played every AC except for DLC's and Liberation, but the modern segments were getting so convoluted (and uninteresting, really) that, once I've started playing ACIII, I was already lost to it's story. I wasn't aware that Lucy was a templar and I honestly don't remember how the hell Desmond's father got into this picture. Then, after deciding to skip that horrible mess of a game ...
Melee dps with dark magic buffs, then? I like it! Thanks for the link. I never knew there were so many jobs in FFXI! It makes FFXIV pales in comparison!
Excuse the ignorance, but what is a Dark Knight? I'm not new to FF, but I'm new to FF mmo's and I've never heard about this class before...
Now, samurai, huh? This sounds amazing! Not sure what's the samurai role in a party but I know it will be my favorite job if it comes true! Exploring Eorzea as a samurai sounds exciting as hell!
I do believe ps+ will, eventually, be as good on ps4 as it is/was on ps3, but right now, it doesn't seems worthy. My gf got a ps4 and subscribed to ps+ right away so she could play d3 online, but in five months, she says she haven't seen any free game that piqued her interest, and she really likes indie games! I feel kind of guilty about this, since I was the one who convinced her that ps+ was the best deal she could ever make. I don't own a ps4 yet, but I know it is ridiculously ...
I don't think it should be a bonus in the first place, but that's just me... ¬¬
Not at all. That was the point of XIII and it's lack of exploration. Accordingly to it's own producer's, they wanted to lure shooter's fans to the series.
Lightning Returns also got rid of parties and added a clock to finish the game, implementing an even faster paced combat to a trilogy that already had fast paced combat instead of the slow combat of older games... how is that being more japanese? The creators themselves said they were inspired by CoD of all ...
They've tried to westernize their games.
I'm so glad to learn it's combat is more like Batman than AC games! AC's combat is boring as hell, I can't believe that after so many games they still haven't changed the formula.
Ninjas must be a dps class, right? I only played as paladin so far, so this would be a really nice change of pace!
Just bought a ps4 and this sure looks like it will be my first game on it! It sounds amazing, like an DA:O on steroids!!
