If I'm not mistaken, Kojima has been saying that since MGS2. Although, if it is true this time around, I'll really miss this series. If true, I hope he consider a reboot or another franchise in the same vein (same universe, different cast, maybe?).
I WILL gonna buy it either way (as I don't have the same level of strong will as you do), but it would be nice to have everything in a one disc bundle. GZ PP and a statue would make for a pretty good CE to me!

If I weren't already sold on this game since it's first announcement, the ever changing dungeons would have been enough to get the hype train moving full steam.
Dragon Quest VIII was such a amazing game that, at this point, even a remaster would make me happy. A new one? Would buy in a heartbeat!
When it comes to the west, it'll be my first musou game since ps2 times. Can't wait to check it out!

So freaking hyped right now. Last sp ff game I've played was XII. Don't care what ppl say, that was beautiful and very much memorable to me in every aspect. FFXIV is a blooding masterpiece if you ask me, but I do miss a truly great sp FF. So, here's hoping that the combat is actually good, 'cause everything else already seems to be!

Accordingly to IGN, he is Kenshi's son. From the gameplay part of the trailer, it looks like he will have a whip and a sword! Potential favorite new comer here. :)
