It would be exciting news if they were talking about remakes. But remasters? ffs...
If it is the same game but without bugs, glitches, huge fps spikes from day one, I'll already consider this a win. Of sorts...
And since I skipped Unity, I would definitely get this. Victorian London at last, after all.
The Emperor of Milfgaard. Hmm, they should had went with that!
I would say SoM was inspired by both Arkham and AC. Yeah, the combat is all Arkham, but everything else reminds me much more of AC than Arkham. Even the character animations looks like the ones from Ubi's game. Not to mention those watch towers you have to climb to unlock the map.
After Arkham/SoM's free-flow, AC combat seems boring as hell. That was the main reason why I skipped Unity. I don't get it why wouldn't they (ubi) just add it to their formula. Also,...
Shadow of Mordor was the best Assassin's Creed in those whole nine years! It's funny to think that Monolith kinda of took Ubi's concept for AC and did - in their first attempt, no less - what Ubi couldn't do in almost ten years!
Seriously though, Black Flag was my favorite AC. But this franchise became very much 'meh' to me. Didn't even bothered with Unity, and from what I've heard, I've dodged a bullet.
Bloodborne is absolutely beautiful in every possible way and one of my favorite gaming experiences in a very long time. That being said, it is no Silent Hill. Wtf is this comparison?! It's like saying that, from now on, CoD will be the best Metal Gear we are going to get... you know, with both having guns and all...
@hasamalaha
Ya, 5 boring games are a disappointment. And I don't care what xbox one got this month. I don't own an xbox one, I own a ps4 - hence why I'm commenting on a ps4 article. Funny as sony is above any criticism and you're always labeled an MS troll should you ever dare to criticise the ps4.
Check out my comment history in this site (I'm reaching 2000 comments) and you'll probably see I'm a big sony fanboy, but that doesn't mean I must be...
Yup. They own the ip. Also, Konami is not primarily a gaming company, so they could very well remove themselves from this industry entirely and still be fine as a company. So it's not like they will go down and someone will buy their ips. Or at least, I don't think that would be the case.
Konami may rot now for all I care. After MGSV, I'm done with them for good.
Really? Is it really that surprising that people want a good plot in a star wars game?
Really good sp missions and offline bots could make up for the lack of a campaingn (to me, at least). Not ideal, but... well...
*edit: since they're focusing enterely on the online portion of the game, I guess it could mean that there will be some sorte of online pve/coop insteat of it being pvp only? That would be nice.
Bloodborne alone is a good enough reason to join the 8th generation imo, so yeah, it was the first great gaming release of the year. Witcher 3 will be the next one.
Too bad it's cross-gen, but still, great news! Moar rpg goodness! =D
Is there many options for a single player beside the story mode? I know now that there is 1v1 against the AI, right? MK9 didn't supported this, so this is good.
Thank goodness! Nothing at all wrong with a good multiplayer game, but sometimes I feel that when you have the need to add multiplayer to your game, it compromises the creativity to come up with replay value on the single player content. That's room for both, so not every game out there needs to have multiplayer.
If it's not, I'm wasting excitment. Damn...!
I know, and I never said otherwise. I just said I am done with remasters. But yes, I am playing and enjoying the new things indeed (very happy with my ps4).
Nope. I'm done with remasters. I want to play new things (that's why I've bought a new console).
Hmmm... I haven't tried it yet, but I'll make sure to keep an eye on it once I own the game. I really hope I can't find it weird in 60fps, for those things can never be unseen! lol
I didn't play the first two either, but I'm pretty damn hyped nonetheless. This game seems dreamy independent of the other two.
