I think those controllers were made of titanium alloy. You could beat a man to death with that thing and still play some Mario after.
At about stage 4 I quit! Very tough game!
The grand daddy of them all.
Curious if this is console dependent? lol
An interesting turn of events, perhaps being first isnt so great anymore.
Good to see they finally fixed the game, that was a shame there for a while.
I wonder if the Wii will ever get some beta love? Seems that betas are so for exclusive for PS3, 360 and PC.
The internet and blogs have changed the face of news and video game information flow form producers and developers to the masses. Traditional magazines just dont provide the game companies the typpe of exposure that blogs and the web can.
Very interesting that even though the community pays money to play this game people have no problem with accepting a weeks worth of issues while palying. I say that is ridiculous! Is Blizzard going to back refund players for the downtime?
Yeah shame on the Socom folks.
I am tired of gettig the message that I cant play team doubles because I dont have the maps. Why are the maps not free yet?
That is a good point, why Beta if you are still going to release an unstable game? Shame on the Socom folks.
Bungie is setting itself apart form others though, we have not seen this type of re-design if you want to call it, in any other game or console.
A lot of people still play and with the new expansion hitting in November that number will probably increase further.
Yeah it is a notorious problem, but it shouldn't be accepted. We pay for WoW monthly, you think after all these patches over the years some improvements could have been made?
I almost forgot about that! That was pretty sick, use the force to grab an entire ship. Good times.
The only problem that can be seen in internet based news or blogs is the rampant fanobyism that can occur. This does tend to sway things un-evenly, although there are print media which are dedicated to only one console, these could be considered fanboy magazines.
Gamers are creatures of habit, being so used to the old system it will take people a while to get used to the new style, if ever. Plus there are so many other titles coming out at this time that Bungie may get lost in the shuffle.
Good point, it is rare if not non-existant that a first party title ever get a poor rating on their own magazine.
Lots of good ideas for surviving some good game during bad economics.
