Yeha it is interesting though how in the video game market we as gamers are thankful to beta test things, but in other markets it is the exact opposite. Manufacturers beg customers to beta test their products and compensate them heavily. Just a bit different views I guess.
LEGO Batman is my favorite Lego game so far because of the characters.
Good old fashioned Star Wars carnage, I think people came down too hard on this game.
I can see it giving you a reason to play again, but I dont like the changes to some of the maps.
Betas are also being used to secure pre-sales. A lot of games make you pre-order and then give you the Beta so that way they can get an idea of how many units they will sell.
I read a lot more blogs and internet news than I ever will print media. I typically get print media just for the pictures, as dumb as that sounds. haha
There are so many betas out right now that it is hard to keep them all straight, everyone is trying to give gamers a taste right before the holidays.
I am not a fan of the new system one bit and especially dont like that you start with the pistol as your secondary weapon now.
Ravi was a scary sight to see but the game makes a lot more sense when you watch little kids playing.
Its kind of like those Croc shoes, cute if kids wear them but creepy if adults wear them.
These kids are some of the luckiest kids ever and probably wont realize it until years later.

Yea the damage modifications are different, seems like I couldn't kill anyone unless I was holding down the left trigger to aim. Also the shotguns are terrible!
I actually like the attack dogs, they are very helpful in locating enemies and its a nice touch having German SHepherds if your playing as a German trooper.
The overall feel of the game is great, but some may argue that it is just an expansion pack to COD4 and not a full game, think of it as skins, maps and slight tweaks, but a good game none the less
The dogs are probably the coolest thing from the demo. They help you hunt down enemies and kill them. You get points for killing them as well but you have to listen to them whimper which is kind of sick.
One thing that I do like a lot is the stabbing aspect, I like how the stabbing feels more real. Bad Company has a decent knifing feel but this one blows it away.
Did the PSN get a beta as well? We know the Wii isnt getting one.
The gameplay is solid and the graphics not too shabby but I think this game will catch some flack for being so similar to COD4, some people may not want to invest another $60 just to change the time period they fight in?
At least the folks over at EA patched their patch quickly. SOme other developers leave their products broken for a while and then blame the gamers.
I kind of agree, I was discouraged after seeing my stuff reset.
