Well with all the videos i have watched. I think i am going to rent this first then see if i want to buy. Seems way to easy to me, that's my biggest fear. That they made it to easy for more of a casual audience.
Are you kidding? I was also thinking of how bad the guy driving in the videos is, either that or he needs glasses real bad. Cause i seen him run straight into a wall that looked nothing like a jump or anything, and i was like WTF is this guy doing. I didn't see any problems telling which way the track was going. Plus that is part of MS is not one lane track it allows you to take different paths and and not be subjected to a small path.
Woah stay off the shrooms. Single player as you said "on a pre-dertermined path" and for the most part is exactly the same each time. Multi player different every time you play it. I think alot of people would see it differently if multi player just all of the sudden just quit.
Wow you are full of crap, this is one of your many comments from socom articles.
"Wow. This looks great.. I can't wait to test it out when I get my LATE beta access from Qore. "
But for some reason in articles you talk about you cant wait for socom to come out and blah blah. Seems like your a flip flopper, does it just depend what most people are posting and you just take that side. Or maybe you don't know socom doesn't have single player *rollseyes*.
And what is wrong with having a variety in online gaming? So you are saying shooters and sports games shouldn't have single player? So they should spend more time with these games making the multiplayer better and not make the single player good. Do you see how stupid that sounds....
Actually you better check your stats again for people online on live. And i am assuming neither one of you above me are going to buy socom?
I like single player sure, but i will not buy a single player only game( let me rephrase that ). I will not buy a short single player game. I rent every single player game that has no multiplayer. For most single player games there is no reply value at all. You are only going to more than likely play through it just one time. And as games keep getting shorter and shorter.......Well i will continue to rent.
It is the first 1250 people to submit.
It started around 1:30 pm est time, it was a first come first serve basis. I would say if you didn't get within the first 10 mins you won't get a key. But it doesn't hurt to try. I had 3 computers refreshing the page from the start and it took me 7 mins to get the register box to come up. Fingers crossed........
My only real problem with this game is. Is it seems all the videos i have seen not just user created ones, it seems so easy. And the controls look kinda floaty and slowly unresponsive. Of course i will make my judgment on controls when i finally play it. Gamefly hopefully will mail it 3 days prior so i can receive it the day it ships.
Well you have to start somewhere i guess.......
Well i am tired of seeing the multiplayer beta footage with no one playing. We have 50 videos of people playing by themselves throwing grenades and whatnot. I want to see people actually playing on a filled server.
I agree Cliff, The ps3 controller needs some reworking IMO. The main thing i hate is the analog sticks are to close together and i cant keep my thumbs on this sticks, i have to reset my thumbs in the middle of the sticks all the time. And i hate the r2 and l2 flaps, i mean really flaps come on. And the controller feels cheap and to lightweight. But the d-pad on the ps3 controller owns that's really the only good point about it.
Hell yeah they should if they have something will that will mess your psp up they need to fix. Not my fault it fell foot and half and turned off during an update so it hosed my psp. I have read alot of people got there psps hosed this way. It didnt physically tear my psp up, it was cause it was updating and the power turned off.
Tell me what me and my friends are suppose to do? Cause obviously i am missing alot to home. I have a real life and if i want to stand around and chat i will do it in the real world. Like i said in other posts i am a gamer and if they don't make it more gamer oriented it isn't worth a crap to me. And BTW i have sent my share of feedback trust, they will probably ban me for sending so much feedback. Sent 23 complaints the first day....
Absolutely no way i will pay a monthly fee to play a single game online. And there will be a fee, mark my words. Somebody is going to have to pay for servers and it wont be sony or game devs.
Well, what you did play was pretty much a finished product. There was no missing textures and such. Cause if they left stuff out of the levels that you could play then you would of had a different experience with it....
Why do you think friends will make it more fun? I have a quite a few friends in it and it is still boring to me. Just wait you guy's will see!
Thats funny cause you know it is bad, when people have there name as sony this or sony that and have there avatars adjusted to so or something bad against the 360 or even vice versa for that matter. It is sad people are that ate up with it.
Seriously, You can't even put LBP in the same breath as Mario 64. I understand you are a sony @#$% in all but, people have to draw a line somewhere and this is it.
And too the article this is a very good comparison, i have bioshock on the 360 and checked out the demo on ps3. And the 360 is far superior than the ps3's. I mean really this doesn't surprise anyone does it.
