I was interested in this game, lord knows while in grade school my grades suffered because I spent so much time playing Doom 2 on its 8 yes 8 disks. However, a review embargo that is lifted the day of release...sorry guys that doesn't spell much confidence
This game people keep referencing was a 59.99 title, you must spend at least 79.99 to get the mw remaster. If they make you use the disc thats a joke. The Modern Warfare remaster costs at least 20 dollars and should not be held behind any disc based need

Something for nothing? They are charging at least 80 bucks for this. That didn't happen in your dead space example. If I am paying extra to get the game I want I should be able to do whatever I want with the game I don't want

This article was only written because the reviewer was a woman and the internet has a seriously messed up case of White Knight defense. EVERY SINGLE IGN review is bashed in the comment section. All the reviewers are mocked for accepting money etc. NOBODY writes these articles when that happens to men.
I hate to break it to you, but clicks are what fuel money to these gaming sites. It isn't out of the realm of possibility for gaming sites to set an agenda for clicks. Most other sites rated this 9 or higher before the IGN review was put up. Its entirely conceivable that they gave it an 8.8 knowing they are one of the biggest sites and one of the most widely viewed as a corrupt site. Go search ign memes everyone is about them accepting money to rate call of duty a 9.5 each year

If they do ww1 they will have to change it up and make it unrealistic. The fighting in ww1 just wasn't engaging and completely different than what gamers are used to. Having a artillery bombardment then marching over the trenches and navigating no man's land only to be cut down by a fixed machine gunner just doesn't seem appealing.
