Sounds like I'll get to save some cash and pick this up for 10-20 in March, hopefully by then these issues people are having will be addressed.
Sound have been released either this summer or in March, not along side the two most powerful fps franchises
This game should have been released in the summer, every fps fan would have bought it. Nope let's release it right against call of duty and battlefield in the busiest month of the year.

I'm really getting sick of having three months out of the year basically releasing nothing and then everything released at once.
What I cannot believe is how quickly people would assume it would be awful because Kojima isn't a part of it. Kojima was stubborn and only wanted things his way. The Metal Gear Universe is so VAST and he refused to explore most of it. If Konami made a game about Ocelot it would be awesome.
I saw the trailer and it looks like it could be a fun shooter. Try watching the trailer without Metal gear Kojima fan boy Goggles on. It doesn't look awful.
I love how everyone is on the hate train, eventhough they haven't played it. If its a good solid shooter I welcome the addition, sure its not a cannon story and different but when have we gotten Metal Gear games in back to back years? I bet they have Metal Gear 6 in development, so why not just be happy for more Metal Gear? This game cannot possibly be worse then the last Metal Gear online. Give the Metal gear universe to someone else and I will always buy it. Kojima got tired of it and it showed, I can't wait for fresh eyes to that amazing universe. I won't be following Kojima blindly unless his next projects are good.
Diablo 2, the original was great but it was way to easy to cheat, the 3rd changed too much in my opinion, 2 was the sweet spot

It will likely cost 65 bucks with Amazon prime, so I'm not to upset. Really if infinite Warfare sucks you can sell it for 30-40 bucks depending on method. For me, I'll give infinite Warfare a chance but I will be buying it for the remaster, so if both games are good I have no issue with the price, and if IW sucks I can sell it no biggy
What did they add to this game that justifies a 60 release price? is it just upscaled graphics and frame rate or am I missing something?

Yeah the franchise will survive, Konami was a company before Kojima and it will be one after. The engine that was developed for mgs 5 is owned by Konami so they already have the building blocks to develop a great game technically, we just all have to wait to see what. The next numbered game is like and not just wallow away in negativity because the company made a spin off of the darn series.
