Rule of thumb, temper your IGN expectations. They OVER HYPE every upcoming game for clicks. In recent memory they posted articles are why HOMELAND REVOLUTION is gonna be awesome, and kept up the narrative till the game came out and then hammered the score. IGN is only about clicks so remember that when you watch anything they put together. Everything is totally awesome and sweet until its released.
They kinda model their approach from car salesmen of the 70s and 80s, over ...
Probably the latter, Amazon has amazing customer service, there is a reason why people flock to it.
Its nice that this is happening on psn, its sad though that people thought an indie developer could develop the most innovative game to date. Once I heard(you can't visit every world in your life time) I knew this was going to just be an okay release(Quantity over Quality). I will be glad to pick it up later and on sale, sorry to those who got over hyped and were let down.
Great way to get some pub Green Day, I haven't heard anything about you since the mid 90s
Great idea but that wont happen as they would rather sell us ps4 users the 60 dollar package instead
Its time we all just accept ps plus for what it is, paywall to multiplayer. I am sure its wonderful if you are still gaming on ps3 or vita, but most people moved on. Its a shame this gen became a run away train after xbox bungled their e3. Hopefully next gen both system have solid launches and actually have to compete to gain customers. Not become complacent or struggle to win them back
Typical,
There is a solution to this, EA slashes the prices of their games around 3 months after they release. So don't buy at launch. This isn't like Activision who will charge 59.99 for a COD game released 8 months ago. Heck EA has been giving BF4 and Hardline DLC for free. I am sure sometime soon Battlefront will sell for 9.99 and they will start giving those expansions away.
Just be patient and you can get a full EA title for penny's on th...
I am not Canadian, but explaining a 29% prince increase to anything is not significant is just ignorant. It doesn't matter if its just 20 dollars its the principal, what justifies the price hike? Sony is giving nothing in return for the price hike, therefore the consumer is getting screwed only because the current marketplace favors Sony.
I have been a fan of Sony since ps1. I agree with many of your points. The problem is this gen was decided before the systems were even launched due to Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot at E3, Sony knows its killing the comp and can do what they want. It sucks, but maybe just maybe fanboys will die off and everyone will hope for competitive generations to come so we don't get this lop sided lazy approach from one company(Xbox was guilty of this in the 360 gen as well after Sony tr...
I have two friends in Canada and I cannot believe the prices you guys have to pay to console game. If I saw 80 bucks for a game here I'd quit my 27 year gaming hobby in an instant
The reason why Canada gets the shaft is this. 35 million citizens vs 330 million in the USA.
Also one has to factor I import tariffs. I am not Canadian and don't know their agreements with the Japanese but the USA has very favorable trade agreements with Japan due to ww2 and South Korea due to the cold war, it's why both products from Japan and Korea can have the same prices while going up against American counterparts
Sony increasing price for this anywhere is anti consumer, they have increased price but added no benefits.
Kojima still has constraints like money to worry about. That was the main contention between him and Konami. Now that he is doing his own thing he has to worry more about the bottom line than he did working for a major company.
Mostly because there hasn't been a mainstream ww2 or lesser in 8 years
I am sure both will be good games, I will be getting IW, with the remaster and wait for battlefield 1. This is simply because I am 32 years old with a full time job and can realistically devote only enough time to one game at a time. I am not saying IW will be better, but The battlefield series has a history of dropping in price quickly, while Activision hardly discounts any COD ever, so I will play cod for a few months, get the fatigue and then pick up battlefield 1 for half price or less. I...
People like you are why COD is always the top selling franchise. Want the same thing over and over and over to the point where developers are scared to try anything different. I guess you draw the line at zombies being outrageous in a series that has child soldiers, bad guys that can shoot bees at you, 150 year old snipers etc.
Call me in 5-7 years when the game will be released on ps5, until then I don't care about your hype Kojima
The over reactions to a spinoff game are simply outrageous.
Make these stupid articles after Konami releases a numbered entry to the series, until then shut up. Konami has the engine from five to use as they please so unless they put a group of mentally challenged individuals in charge at least the game play will be solid.
This whole Konami hate Kojima fanboyism is so nauseating.
I remember when rising was announced and everyone cried t...
People that are okay with this are simply fan boys. If their cable, Internet or cell phone bills decide to increase in monthly price they probably hit the ceiling and try getting another service or calling customer service. Just because it's video games and ten bucks doesn't mean ANYONE should be happy about a price increase without adding anything to justify it.
Just because they offer games does not mean we get our money's worth. I hardly even download or play most of the garbage ps plus has given ps4 since launch. Its unfortunate I pay for a multiplayer paywall(a practice that has been shoddy since xbox started it)
Also the privileged/entitled argument is so friggen old. It needs to stop being used. Once you pay for something you are no longer privileged or entitled, buying a service entitles a person to expectation, when the...
