I mean, most of the actual Overworld was an annoying slog of where do I go, getting into random battles when you don't want to, and endlessly running in circles when you do want to to grind up. I'll take what they did in Episode 1 over how Midgard was in the original game. So many rose tinted glasses being worn when people compare the two.
If they can do a similar thing with Episode 2 then I'll be right in line ... though not pre ordering, that's dead to m...
Foveated rendering I think?
Parasite eve was a banger, definitely one that I'm glad i somehow ended up with as a kid
I thought so too and then realized I'd ended up with both versions installed :/
It runs at 17fps! SEVENTEEN! The minimum accepted fps for animation is 16. Cyberpunk is 1 fps away from being basically good stop animation. Which is a fucking travesty honestly.
I'm not sure what about this looks crazy, unless it's how crazy average it looks :/
I agree for a different reason, I work and have kids, i just can't commit hundreds of hours to something. I'd rather have something tight paced around 20 hours plus whatever collectibles they put in etc. and know I'm actually going to finish it.
And you finally beat it then another whole NEW fucking game starts playing straight after. It was a masterpiece.
I'd think that my ps5s fan were broken it's so quiet except the case is cool and I can feel warm air.
As a general rule, if an article asks a question and doesn't give the answer in the form of the title then it's almost always no.
Holy crap I hate things like this, reminds me of when Bloodborne came out and an article front page on here had a title that was basically like "How to beat the actual real secret boss X by doing Y" with a picture of the boss. I won't go into more details as it's just gone on the PS Collection so new people might be playing but I hadn't gotten very far and there was no way I could've seen it coming. I was royally pissed off :/ didn't even get a chance to not se...
Man imagine The Order on the PS5 with all that raytracing and 4K goodness.
But the XSX didn't release in a few years, it's released now so it's not surprising people are asking where those are now. I don't buy something hoping that my purchase will pay off 1/3 of the way through the generation...
Sure, VRR means that the TV/monitor alters its refresh rate or the rate at which it displays frames to match the fps sent by the console. If a console locks in at 30 or 60 then theres no problem with 60hz refreshes but imagine a 60Hz display trying to display 60 frames a second but your console is giving 42, you get stuttering, tearing, juddering etc. Instead with VRR on the TV would show 60fps when the console is at it but if it drops to say 53 then the TV matches that rate.
I seem to recall hearing that PS4 games are recreated as they were on the PS4, load times included. So adding the SSD would really only do so much (similar to upgrading to an SSD on the old console) whereas XBox actually tried to lower the loading times in their BC. This is how MM can load in a couple of seconds whereas old games are loading closer to a minute.
Cinema...except for not supporting Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos...
Fucking knew it was Pachter the moment I saw the headline lol.
Except I don't know anyone who recycles them. I guarantee you the average consumer doesn't.
Wait... I thought Aerith lived in the slums and the city was on multiple levels with the rich living up above in the sun and the slums being down below? This all seems to be one level.
I'm a couple of hours in, only got the first two powers but I would say that's nonsense so far. So far there's a tippy tap when you walk and a trigger catch when you shoot...that's it. Now, there are more powers to go so perhaps they all add to the dualsense in some way but there's no way it's so far been even close to the controller 'tutorial' that pops up when you first load Astro.
