While horseshit I can see what they were going for. The biggest complaint about the game is it's campaign, many people simply stopped playing it because of that, from what I've been told by someone who played it, it has two cutscenes in the entire campaign, everything else is told by exposition dump when you hand in one of the four types of quests. Everything is just 'Go here, kill these, kill miniboss, return' It's simply a grind for items and levels to be able to do t...
@TakeTori Not even slightly superior really, it was just better in every way, better mechanics, fixed the gun, added zip line pathways through all the dungeons, added confidants, increased time to spend getting things...heck just read this instead of me typing it all :p

Still got my shrink wrapped copy :p just been waiting on the ps5 update... Any day now... Or 2022 I guess.
It seems like it's only available in "Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Finland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, and Norway".
Double checked and it's in 'select European countries'
They most likely don't allow you to keep the games when not subscribed to stop people just subscribing for a month, grabbing a game they want then quitting until there's another game they want months later. If everyone did that then I imagine revenue would drop like a rock and they'd have a harder time paying out for the games they put on the service.
Yes obviously it would be nice to be able to do that as a gamer, but as a company you can see why they don...
"Just" disable them in the BIOS, I'm sure all those users who play games on PC will know that the shitty fps they're getting is due to a BIOS setting that they've probably never heard of, in a system settings location they probably don't know how to get to, and is an issue they probably don't know how to google.
Not everyone is a power user, or even a hobbyist who reads things like this. Many people just click install and then open the game.
I didn't so what was it?
@Nyxus and on metacritic
Why does the title and lead of this article not relate at all to the video?
Title: The voxel-based MMO game “Trove” is now available on Playstation and Xbox platforms
Lead: "gamigo (one of the leading publishers of online and mobile games in Europe and North America) today announced with great thrill and happiness that they have just released their voxel-based MMO game “Trove” for the PS5/PS4 via PSN, and Xbox Series/X/S/Xbox One via the Microsoft store.&quo...
Yeah I had to check myself here because I remember downloading this years ago and thinking it was decidedly 'meh'. Did they release an update/DLC?
@TheRealTedCruz What? Re>MAKE< as in you take the original concepts and you remake them into something different; "You have a new title that regurgitated elements of a prior game." Yes that's a remake. It sounds like you want a Remaster perhaps where all elements from the original are kept and they update graphics, physics, models etc. That was never the point with this.
For people asking who owns Arkane, it's Microsoft. Arkane is owned by Zenimax Studios, they also own Bethesda and now Microsoft owns them and so all 8 of their child companies.
You would put in the disc and then download the upgraded digital copy but you would keep the disc in the machine for verification so you don't just immediately sell the old physical copy.
Interesting, I'm sure you'll be willing to post your source and it won't just be "The stuff I ate yesterday"
... Steam deck
... We're calling English as spoken in Britain, British English.
You could change the license to be open non commercial and allow ROMs of them.
Because buying a working game gear for a decent price is pretty damn hard.
@kneon you know eventually those consoles will break and you won't be able to get a new one easily. What then? What about when I want to play game gear / mega drive games from my childhood 25 years ago? How about my Atari games? I can try and buy refurbished but eventually they'll dry up too. Now I'm not 'owed' those games forever but it would be nice to have the option if the company isn't going to support it any more.
Probably because if they're going to offer that game as one of the three for the month it should a)be a decent to good game and b) actually be the game. I see why they're doing it but it does kind of set the precedence that publishers could get away with making a new 'version' of the game with pieces removed and then hope for purchases to unlock the 'full' game. Even if godfalls campaign is shite.
