360 will be 8 years old in 2013. Xbox lasted only 5 years before 360 came along so its surely possible. It all depends on how sales go this year and next, if they slow down, definetly during 2013, if they hold up or increase, well then probz 2014.
You people are really annoying me. If that's (6 players per team) what they've found works best then great. I didn't see people complaining about Uncharted 2 only having a max of 5 people per team, and before you say its completely different, one of those modes is Deathmatch so there you go!
And as far as it being a rumour, it was made official back at GC last year...

Brother, I don't own a 360. I own a PS3 (actually 2) with over 70 games and Move, and a powerful PC. I would like to point out that obviously I will buy Crysis 2 on PC (becuase I can, and I'm not dumb) but I am such a huge fan of the series that i would be prepared to spend Aus$300 on a 360 to play the game 3 months early, especially considering that i can then use it for another Crytek game.

I already covered that. And no, of course an early demo isnt enough to make me buy a 360. However, a Crytek exclusive game certainly is a major part of it. For me, being a hugh fan of Crytek, it would be like ND making a 360 exclusive game for fans of Uncharted (obviously will never happen, it's just an example). But there are other games on 360 i wouldnt mind ge...

Pity bloody MS don't sell the arcade by itself anymore in Aus, they're all bundled with bloody kinect and as such is ridiculously expensive.
It's definitely not the release date and I'll tell you why. Every CoD since MW at least has had a worldwide release on a tuesday, and the 11th is a Friday.
I'd put my money on the 8th of November as this is a Tuesday!
Medal of honor mp ( at least on pc) has as good if not better sound. It does use the same sounds and game engine though, so no huge surprise there.
I think it certainly could be considered a candidate, but for me I really have no idea wether it will actually be fun or not. We haven't seen enough chunks of actual gameplay to know whether it will actually work.

Hey gillri, the game looks good and absolutely is well designed in terms of graphics, technically though, they aren't that good. You hardly have to be an "aa counter" to notice that the game is technically (graphically) lacking from a PC gamers perspective (me)
The point I was making is that for someone who has seen a lot better graphics from 5 year old games to still have Read Dead down as GOTY shows that it's not down to graphics it's down to gameplay/...
Yeah I think this game was chronically under-rated just because it was percieved as not be unique enough. Who really cares, the game offers a good mix of a few other games from the genre and most of all its fun to play so surely thats what maters most?
Quite frankly Red Dead is best known for its awesome gameplay rather than the graphics. If you look at the game from a PC gamers perspective (not dissing the consoles just making an observation), the the graphics are really quite bad. The resolution is sub par, as are the textures, anti-aliasing, shadowing etc, although animation is very good!!
Red Dead deserves GOTY because it really is that awesome!
I would have said obviously the console versions will look worse, but anyway.
+1 for Ryudo. As this smart man points out, us PC gamers (specifically Crysis fans) already know what to expect, we don't need a Demo!
As i said in another story about Crytek ditching the pc fans, demo's aren't for fans, they never have been and never will be. Demo's are put out there so that people who are on the fence (ie, not fans who will likely have already pre-ordered) can get a feel for the game.
BUT, I think Crytek do owe the PC community an apology for the way they have completely neglected mentioning details about the PC version.

@ eggbert - of course it isn't, but the majority of gaming sites are in agreement that the game looks quite good.
@ neomatrix - sure it's coming out on ps3, but come into any of these articles on crysis 2 and there are a bunch of ps3 fanboys downplaying the game. Just look below at Xewndrs comment, and also not surprisingly your own comment. So you have not played crysis 2 or bulletstorm, yet your qualified to say that killzone 3 is downright better. *Sigh*
