I love it when they compare Killzone to Crysis PC. The beauty of actually owning a computer that can max Crysis and a PS3 + KZ2 + KZ3 is that I can tell them how wrong they are and know I'm not just talking out of my ass like people who claim the games are graphically similar are.
You want a day and night cycle with in a 10 minute round?
They need to do something with the DLC modes though, because there is never or rarely enough people on those modes to get a proper game going. It would be good if they made it free to download seeing as they aren't going to be making many sales of it anyway.
Otherwise though MAG certainly does have a large enough community for it to function as intended. To say it is dead is just ridiculous in my eyes.
I've just been playing the demo on PC and trust me that isn't an issue. Without armour engaged you can be killed too quickly if anything. If you armour up though, it becomes a much longer lasting gun fight.
Yeah I can max Crysis at about 40FPS with that rig, and I can't get the 64bit version running on Windows 7 at higher than 20FPS (even on all minimum specs). Obviously there is some issue with Crysis' compatibility with Win7 64
Core i7 930 @ 3.3 (minor overclock), ATI 5870, 6Gb ddr3 ram @ 2006 MHz. Hoping for High graphics to be at least playable at 1920x1080
First sensible thing Jaffe has said in a while. I think he's right, unless it is directly marketed at young children then I don't think it is an issue.
Worse things could happen
@ Bear Grylls - Laughably it's only rated PG in Australia
Probably less than Crytek could. Guerrilla simply don't innovate on the technical side, they've added absolutely no features to game engines that hadnt already been done.
Crytek on the other hand were the first to implement realtime radiosity for example and the first to have real time multi platform development. They were also the first to do realtime ToD transisitions and about a dOzen other things that are now commonplace in game engine land.
@ Jmorgan - That stuff GG gave yours hardly that out there is it? Consider, every high profile game gets a tone of screens and videos released on the Internet. Also consider that you had to pay extra for the super voucher and the unlock points.
Now consider that if you preorder Crysis 2 you get the limited edition at no extra price. This gives you the equivalent of unlock points (boost to rank 5) amongst other stuff. Crysis 2 will also get 2 demos and a beta at least, and wil...
Forget Halo bro, Crysis did everything it does before Reach even was thought about
Hahahahaha. How do you know they are alive? Crysis 2 is three years after the original as I'm sure you know, they could easily have been killedor even left the military in that time.
Oh by the way, Crysis is my favourite game ever, and I've finished the campaign 7 times.
Edit: While its obvious that Prophet will be a part of the game, it's equally obvious that he wont be in it for the entire game. I would be completely opposed to them altering th...
To all the people saying this should have co-op, use your brain. The main focus of the game is that you are the only man who can save the earth. So yeah, co-op would probably be a bad idea story wise.
Nanosuits are, but not Nanosuit 2's
He's talking about in terms of bugs and general polish, not particularly graphics.
Bill Maher fan?
The annoying thing about the cover system is that if you are leaning off the side of cover and you reload, you cant push back into cover until he finishes reloading.
Also, why do the AIs bullets travel at Ratchet and Clank speeds?
What about Dirt 3 and Operation Flashpoint 3? Motorstorm 3, assassins 3, potentially Far Cry 3,
What is "Enter in a match"?
Do you mean joining a game? If so I don't see the problem.
