Thing is this PSJailbreak can be updated

So Sony release Firmware 3.42
Then PSJailbreak 1.1 Comes out

Sony can patch the problem but software can be broke, also has Sony forgot about legitimate users using USB stick, they can't just remove that feature

I believe this will be harder for Sony, patching will not cut it in honest my opinion

Can't see myself ever using PSJailbreak or anything like it, I'm a PC ...

You have to realize not everyone is going to use this for Piracy

For example my bro has over 60 PS3 games and he has broken 3 PS3 in the past because of the Blu Ray drive failing

With this he only need a External 1.5TB HDD for around £75, he will keep the games because he's a collector but at the same time he knows the chances of the Blu Ray drive failing are far lower than before

Game, Store, Forum and News servers rarely go down

Community and Friends list go inactive but this usually lasts for about 1 minute

Well I would not go to that extreme

For sure console users have Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony hand up their asses and they accept anything even if its total garbage as good, even Apple can be put with them

With PC you have a 100% open platform where the consumer has its say, and if Steam turns to shit we will skip to the next but I doubt that will happen

Steam for me is the perfect system.

Gabe, Valve and Steam have made all the right moves and if anything it can only get better

Like I have said before Steams main revenue is its community because at the end of the day if Valve did not have 25 Million users on its service it would be dead

What If a want a disc version with Steamworks

For example steam games are cheap but sometimes the publishers don't allow the prices to come down
Assassin's Creed 2 is £29.99 on Steam because Ubisoft will not reduce the price yet and I got it for £9.99

OK Assassin's Creed 2 is not Steamworks but its still a good example, Steam do have great prices but its entirely up the the publisher to set the pricing

This is wrong unless Valve gave it to Gearbox

Valve acquired the right to Duke Nukem when 3D realms went into liquidation

Killzone 3 may be the best graphics on Consoles

Nothing on any platform has come close to toppling Crysis or Crysis Warhead

CryEngine 2 & 3 = Realtime all the time

The difference is Crysis 2 = realtime all the time

That was Crytek's plan from day one

Cevat said himself that they never intended to incorporated Very High mode, they did it because they knew no game would look greater than it till their own squeal.

To this day they are correct, no game has matched it only Crysis Warhead and on top of that CryEngine 2 & 3 is realtime all the time

CryEngine realtime all the time

No pre-rendered shadow that is just another lay of texture

Everybody thinks that MLAA is the best anti aliasing but the fact is I can still see aliasing with it on

I can only see myself no aliasing on Crysis when I run: 16xaa, 16xQaa and 32xaa, anything below 8xaa and I can see aliasing on object instantly

Also GT5 runs 1920 by 1080p 60fps in menu screens and 1280 by 1080p 30fps in game
With 3D I predict 1280 by 720p 30fps per image

The thing most people don't understand is the CryEngine renders everything in realtime

If Crytek say PS3 and 360 is maxed out I would say I believe them
If NaughtyDog or GurillaGames don't say the ps3 is maxed out, its not realtime
If Bungie or Epic Don't say the 360 is maxed out, its not realtime

Crytek only do Realtime all the time

Valve have done proper ports of most of its games to the Mac so and can see them do it for the PS3

If they was to bring Left 4 Dead to PS3 they could wait for Left 4 Dead 3 then Sell it as the Dead Box

Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Left 4 Dead 3

All for £50 - $70

I think it will be

Half-Life 2: Episode 3
Counter Strike 2
Left 4 Dead 3
