You should ask the same question about PC version.
I think the lack of PC and maybe PS3 footage is because they don't want to shame the 360 version.
PC>PS3>360
CryEngine 3 Realtime. All the time.
PC it only does everything
Realtime ray tracing only achievable on Fermi (Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 series or greater), not like the lag on the Cell
8x Multisample AA or even better 2x Supersample AA destroys that post processing filter joke MLAA.
Cell is dead ask IBM, ask Toshiba and Sony will be saying the same when PS4 is released.
If that is the case I have to say it will not take long for other devices to jump past the NGP graphics wise.
For example LG Optimus 2x uses Nvidia Tegra 250 by the end of the year other Phones and portable devices will most likely use ARMs latest chips.
Remember Nvidia Tegra has ARM chips build in. Also Nvidia most likely will be releasing Terga III in the near future.
Sony is going to have some big competition by the end of the year from Ap...
This PSP2 / NGP could be even more powerful, here is my reasoning.
Currently Sony have said the NGP will use Cortex 9 Quad Core, Well ARM has already got a Cortex 15 Octa Core.
Remember guys PSP2 Spec is not 100% finalised and since its not coming out for another 10 months possibly, I would expect this 8 Core Cortex to be implemented.
OMG this person who wrote this article please do your research WOW
Blu-ray has nothing to do with it.
Just look at PC, the best looking games only come on 1 DL-DVD:
Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Metro 2033.
PSP2 will be using a custom Memory Stick or Secure Digital where capacities are already at 64GB which puts Blu-ray out in the cold.
On top of that these Flash storage mediums have exponential read speeds (133MB/s) compared to ...
People keep on bringing price into this.
My Xbox 360 purchased 2006 - £279.99
My PlayStation 3 purchased 2007 - £424.99
My gaming PC purchased 2007 - £337.00
Built the system myself and already had HDTV just hooked up with VGA cable, already had XP from my laptop, already had gamepad from my Xbox 360.
This system already was holding its own to PS3 and 360 and well priced.
With games costing 33% - 50% les...
PC Version
Graphically superior
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Microsoft all/or Sony paid off so no DLC for PC unless it on PC for free, may be free patch, we will see.
Crysis and Crysis Wars were more like Battlefield
Crysis 2 MP was more like Call of Duty
Hoping all the game modes on Crysis Wars are present in Crysis 2
PSP2 should be in Theory greater than PS3 performance wise.
Guys technology has moved on so fast since the PS3 was released, on top of that the console is really 6 years old now considering the Cell and RSX was ready in 2005
Most impressed I've been with Sony in years.
I'm really impressed with Sony on this one, as I see things for a technological stand point.
PSP2 should be in theory greater than PS3
Like I said the PSP2 will not have Cell B.E or a cut down version, way to much power consumption for its performance.
I have said several time over the last months it will be PowerV or Tegra II, well I was almost right Cortex and PowerV
(Sony knows the Cell is no where near as good as they...

Crysis must be on Medium or High
Its not Very High that is for sure.
Wow
I'm surprised, I've seen a 560 Ti aftermarket cooler and it performed way worse than that.
I would still get a GTX 460 depending on the price.
These 560 are around 7 degrees hotter, 2 Db louder and use about 30-40W more power and that is reference 460 verses aftermarket 560 coolers
I can get my GTX 460s at 800MHz/1600MHz/4000MHz no sweet at stock voltages even tried 900MHz/1800MHz/4000MHz
Also the GTX 560 has been classed as a revision as in GF114, its just a GF104 with only SM unlocked allowing 384 Cuda cores instead of 336.
So hope they have Power struggle on this, loved that mode on Crysis and Crysis Wars
I would also put Trubritar in that category
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Here is Trubritar's spec:
CPU: Duel Intel Xeon X5680 @ 4.5GHz (12 Cores 24 Threads)
RAM: Corsair Dominator GTX2 12GB PC3-18000 2250MHz DDR3
He has many GPU configurations
ATi Radeon HD 5870 Quad CrossFireX
ATi Radeon HD 5970 CrossFireX
Nvi...
My Spec
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3.6GHz @ 1.250 Vcore
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 SLi @ 800MHz, 1600MHz, 4000MHz
PPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 240
RAM: OCZ 8192MB PC2-8500 1066MHz DDR2
Storage: 1814GB (soon 3TB)
Plays Crysis and Crysis Warhead at 50FPS > Very High 1920 by 1080 when the SLi profile works :/ still even with one card its above 30 most of the time.
I think Crysis 2 will look better than Crysis but...
Its probably the best looking 360 MP, would like to see SP demo, same with a PS3 SP demo
Playing Crysis with a pad is not recommended
Getting PC version 1920 by 1080 in 3D 16xAA
CryEngine 3 - Realtime, all the time
PC it only does everything
Played it about 30 mins ago
In short Crysis on Consoles is embarrassing.
Pads on FPS games = 100% sluggish
Really loved Crysis and Crysis Warhead and can't wait to see what Crysis 2 offers at 1920 by 1080 in 3D with 16x AA
CryEngine 3 - Realtime, all the time
PC it only does everything
My bro had The Darkness on PS3, could not get passed a part because of a bug.
Would love a PC version, never going to happen :(
