Yup, one good thing I love about Rockstar is I know every game I buy from them will be well worth the $60 if not more. Well, expect for their Table Tennis game, that was kind of crappy lol.
Who cares? VGA most anticipated game for 2011 doesn't = everyones most anticipated game. Hell, Pokemon Black & White could be someone's most anticipated game for 2011, it's all about personal preference. My two personal most anticipated games (One of each) is Twisted Metal and Gears of War 3. I would like to say Killzone 3 because I loved Killzone 2, but TM hasn't been done on PS3, so I'm really excited to see what it's all about.
"I was having an extended session of Black Ops & my screen started jacking up with 1's and 0's all over the screen"
If you were playing single player, that's suppose to happen.......
"Now it seems that a lot of people, who own a PS3 Classic, got their PS3 killed while they were playing Call of Duty: Black Ops."
I'm sure it did, just like MW2 gave tons of people on Xbox the RROD. You bought an electronic device, it's built to fail at one point. It just so happens you were playing COD when it did. If COD wasn't as popular as it is, you wouldn't be reading this right now and instead it would be "My PS3/360 died while playing X ...
I wasn't talking sales, I was talking active users.
Really? I'm pretty sure Black Ops is free on PC as well. What's sad is Sony has better exclusives, yet still get's overshadowed by COD and the number #1 game on PS3 is also COD. Can't really poke fun at MS when COD blows their exclusives out of the water, when it does the same on PS3 which has more and better exclusives.
I could care less who agrees/disagrees with me. Not one person on this site or any other site can say anything to make me think Kinect doesn't work, or Kinect has issues doing this and that, etc. I actually own the thing, and played quite a few games (unlike 90% of the users on this site that claim Kinect doesn't work) and it works great. Like I said, I can play sitting down, standing up, in the pitch dark, from 4-5 feet away, with no lag that effects the gameplay. I'm sure if I s...
Well they did something to make it work better in previous COD games. I know MW2 wasn't perfect by any means in terms of lag, but the amount of delay between me and my enemies is far worse in Black Ops than any COD game. Just watching the killcam sometimes makes me go "Wow, he was really that far ahead on his screen, but on mine he was right in front of me." I've played many FPS that run on P2P and don't have nearly as much lag as Black Ops does right now.
How is this how you feel when you called all the games shovelware crap, making me think you didn't buy it because you think the games are crap, meaning this isn't how you feel because you haven't used Kinect?
Those shoveware crap games don't have to be compared to those games you mentioned. I bought Kinect, Kinect Sports, and Black Ops all in the same week and enjoying all 3 of them. The author of this article needs to check his settings on Kinect because I...
Nice update and all, but how about fixing the lag. I'm tired of knifing someone in the face just to watch the killcam to see on their screen they're actually behind me and I'm knifing the air. I can't count how many times this has happened, or been killed before an enemy comes around the corner when on his screen he was already around the corner. This game is awesome and very balanced and I actually really enjoy it, but between the lag and the horrible spawn system, it's r...
Again? That blows, I was looking forward to trying the Ghost Recon beta here in the next couple of months.
And what's wrong with Rare? Kinect Sports is a great game, it's actually one of the best Kinect games right now. Very fun and addiction with almost zero lag, and on the hardest difficulty is pretty challenging. Table Tennis is the shit on there.
@NYC_Gamer - What's your point? Half of those games were remade for XBL and now they are doing something different. If Kinect Sports sucked horribly, then yea I could see what you mean, but it doesn't. It's actuall...
"as the PlayStation 3 continues to close the gap on the Xbox 360."
This statement is really getting old and annoying now. How about make an article when it actually happens, instead of posting this same line every 3-6 months over the course of 2-3 years.
Depends on how they do it, I wouldn't mind having Alan Wake 2 with Kinect support. I doubt they would make Alan Wake 2 a full fledge Kinect title. I'm interested to see what this is, all I have is casual games for Kinect, which isn't a bad thing, but it would be nice to play some core games and see what developers can come up with that is interesting.
It doesn't matter if it's not your ordinary racer, or that GT5P was "basically" a demo (Which it isn't, it's sold on store shelves, it's a retail game, demos are not sold), if GT5 wasn't coming out here soon it's not like the PS3 version of COD would have shot up and passed the 360 version. GT or any other game has no effect on COD sales, COD will sell millions with or without GT or any other huge game coming out.
@iPad - I can't sa...
I traded mine in at Gamestop when they had a 50% trade in bonus going on, I got $50 for it. That's a damn good deal right there.
COD always sold better on 360, with or without GT. Shooters are dominating this gen, racers.....not so much.
To late, I sold it almost a year ago.
Those 4 reasons can be easily patched. MW2 was plagued with glitches after nearly a week of release and it took IW 10 years to patch the stupid game. Treyarch is already fixing things within the game, the party kicking seems to be fixed as I played all night without having one person get kicked from the party.
For some reason this DLC was on available within the game on the first day it launched. Why they took it off and waited about a month to release it is beyond me. If you score 90,000 points in The Wheel Of Misfortune you get 4 legendary weapons. It's pretty fun, but I enjoyed the Arena they had in Fable 2 better.
Oh yea, if it brings that classic PS2 TM gameplay, I'll be playing that for a long time. I would like to add SOCOM 4 as my overall most anticipated game of 2011, but I'm very skeptical of how Zipper is taking the SOCOM franchise. My favorite game of all time is SOCOM 2, so I'm hoping to god SOCOM 4 can out do it, but I don't want to get my hopes up. I just hope they focus on the core, and don't turn it into a casual shooting feast.
