They have a certain time period in which a game has to be released in the year for it to be eligible for nomination to give enough time to cast the votes and stuff. I believe the deadline for Spike VGA is somewhere around November 19th, so since GT5 doesn't come out until the 24th, it's not eligible until next years VGA.

I never really got into COD4, my favorites have been WaW and Black Ops. Black Ops is actually really good IMO, it just has some stupid issues right now like spawn points and lag. If they fix those two things, I think my time with Black Ops will be much more enjoyable.
Yea in that pic it looks pretty good, but 9/10 it's always flat like paper. Who the hell has flat grass lol
EDIT: No see in the 2nd picture, it looks flat as hell like the trees are just sitting on green carpet or something. I don't know, it might sound kind of stupid to make a big deal about grass lol but in racing games the environments always stood out to me on how well they usually look, besides the grass which for some reason gets on my nerves.

I'm not really a PC/Mac gamer but I did download Steam for Mac because they were giving away Portal for free and that game is fucking awesome so I couldn't pass that up. Thing is though, a lot of games aren't supported on Mac that I wished to play, one of them being Alien Swarm, so instead I downloaded the PC version of Steam that also worked on Mac and even though it was a little buggy, I was able to play more games :)
Yes, to a certain extent. If a game has horrible graphics, and I do mean horrible, but great gameplay, it's really hard to enjoy the game because you're constantly looking at something ugly.
