Agreed. I thought the game was great. Although, a few certain things did have me disappointed.

Fan = Mega Hit
Reviews = Big disappointment.

Don't hold your breath. If the reviewer is the same guy who did hour long video coverage (which was horrible), I doubt it will be any better than the 75% of the "other" reviews.

8.5s are not bad, but people were expecting 10's across the board. Obviously the game isn't a flop, that's just trolls speaking gibberish. On the other hand though, not getting the score people wanted it to, I can see the scores being considered a "flop" if that's what you want to call it. The game however is not.
I don't see how the graphics can be a negative, or the weather system. IMO the weather system is what looked the best in GT5. The damage, yea I can see that, but graphics and weather? No.
I don't think the site is shit, but some of their reviewers are.
How is an 8 a flop? I can see people laughing because it's not getting the 10's everyone expected, but seriously 8 is not a flop.

Try saying any Forza is better than GT in a GT article and you will get laughed at. On this site, it does matter.

You can read my mind now? Well you read it wrong. I was actually expecting IGN to give it a 9.5. Gamespot on the other hand, after their horrible hour video coverage, a 8.5 wouldn't surprise me, but IGN, no I expected more.

Before the reviews GT5 fans were going into every article putting "GOTY", "Forza can't compare", "Best racing game EVER". Read those 3 comments probably 200 times over the course of a week.
Could say the same to all the PS3 fanboys waiting for those 7's and 8's Halo Reach got, or even Fable 3.
