The lock-up is worst, in my opinion. With the lock-up, from what I've heard, it's the PS3's fault. So,you would have to buy a new PS3 to play the game. With the RRoD, after it happens, just send it in (for free) and get it back within a few weeks.. hopefully.
So, to fix RRoD, all it costs is time..
To fix the lock up, it'll cost ya..
