But they didn't.
No mini map. I love it. Orange dot chasers are going to have a hell of a time, and previously low scoring and timid players may as well not even try.
Nothing in this article implies "gloom and doom" for Sony; the author is merely wondering whatever happened to the games in question.
I'm not sure about Deep Down (think it was scrapped) but nothing indicates to me that WiLD will suffer the same fate.
I have the feeling that this will be a fun killstreak. I think MW2 had the killstreaks down perfectly in terms of fun but not so much in terms of balance.
I welcome this killstreak - sounds fun.
Nice pad. I'm sure they'll enjoy working there.
Yep.
That's what happens when you focus on gaming and quality. The PS4 was purely and simply a no-nonsense gaming system.
Awesome.
"Good. About time we grow up."
I couldn't have put it any better.
Agreed.
Focusing on 8K would be such a waste of resources. 4K offers a nice, clean image; 8K is totally unnecessary. Totally.
Give us the better lighting, textures, particle effects and get that 8K crap out of here; how "clean" does an image need to be? I say 4K max for the entirety of the coming generation. No mid-gen nonsense; we only kinda needed it this gen because the base consoles were so underpowered at launch.
There's a lot of potential with The Order 1886; it was a good game with an interesting setting and tone. Was the cover-shooter game play the most compelling ever? No, but it was a solid shooter with a cool premise.
I'd like to see sequel.
That's all it really needs; it's a nice controller as far as feel is concerned, but it needs battery longevity. The controller is pretty sturdy and they got rid of that Flex Seal shit they used for the thumbsticks early on.
But hey, if they can change it and make it even better, I'm not complaining.
Lol @ all the disagrees. Sony DOESN'T have that kind of capital; the kind that can finance the massive infrastructure that Microsoft has - they simply don't. It's nothing against Sony; it's just the truth.
Microsoft's gaming division respect PlayStation, and while that doesn't solve Microsoft's problem of lacking IPs, it at least lets us know that they're aware of their shortcomings. Phil Spencer knows that Microsoft needs a studio like Naugh...
Everything you said is everything I hate about today's Call of Duty.
Anyone who actually buys AA batteries for an Xbox controller is a fool or uninformed or both. The Charge and Play Kit battery pack never leaves the controller, and it utterly trounces Sony's built-in solution - this is just a fact.
I've had my C&P pack this entire gen and it's only showed minimal signs of death. I still get charges that last a week; far longer than the Dual Shock 4.
Let's cut the crap, face the facts, and be objective...
It's worth it; don't have to throw away an otherwise perfectly good controller because it can no longer hold a charge.
The Charge and Play Kit is cheap, but honestly, gaming is an expensive hobby. Small peripheral expenses don't bother me, and gaming isn't for the poor.
There's controllers, games, consoles, memberships, internet, etc; you think I'm crying over a 30 dollar battery pack?
This.
My Xbox Charge and Play battery lasts a lifetime it seems; gotta recharge the fucking Dual Shock 4 after any substantial gaming session. Sony could extent that puny-ass charging cord as well.
Agreed. Sony needs to work on their battery game; Microsoft can honestly just stick with their latest.
'Badass' characters with 'big personalities' and the obligatory hard-ass Michelle Rodriguez archetypes are wearing me out. Enough of the cornball nonsense; these specialists are completely unlikable.
I need a more gritty, dark, serious, true-to-life Call of Duty all around, and this game seems to be delivering on that. Also, Captain Price is actually likable, and not a total cornball.
You're a conscientious objector... that could be a new game mode.
