I can see that being nice I won't argue about that. But it would just be hard for me to go back so far update wise and being so limited with map size personally. I still play it with friends but I understand it wouldn't be as convenient for most people, I have 3 PCs for people to play on but not everybody does. If I owned an Xbox I'd probably buy it anyway just for the reason you said. I like having things to do with friends and family when they come over.

Really had to force myself to keep reading after that. And after finishing it I wish I did just stop. If these people still don't understand what Sony meant by that after this many years then I don't expect them to understand much else.
Let's just say the mobile version is even more watered down than the Xbox version. I own the mobile version just because I enjoy playing it on PC and thought it would be nice having a portable version, but I can barely bring myself to play it. If it's doing well for them though then more power to them. Just means longer support for PC if it's making them money.
Actually Sony has already been working on doing something similar to this. They talked a lot about allowing their TVs, tablets, phones, Vita and PS3 to work together at CES this past January. I'm not personally a big fan of the whole tablet and motion control craze but whatever works for them I guess. Need them both here for competition so I wish them both well.
I was actually going to say War of the Monsters as well. I had so much fun with that game with friends. Was surprised to see it mentioned already, nice one sir.
I actually use that feature, it helps relieve some of the monotony of climbing around everywhere. I thought it was kinda fun in the first game but after already doing it 3 times now the climbing around is getting a bit stale. I agree that overall they did seem to overdo the touch controls a little bit but it's understandable. They were just trying to show off what the Vita can do. Hopefully they'll scale it down a bit next time.
I agreed with you because I see nothing wrong with your thoughts on this, but thought I might share why this could possibly mean for PS4. It's no guarantee by any means but it is actually a small glimmer of hope. As soon as that release date showed on the screen "PS4 announcement at E3" was the first thing that popped into my head.

I can see this maybe happening to a few small companies but there's also been a lot of talk of engines being made with cutting costs as one of the key features. Either way it's a shame to see people lose jobs so hopefully nothing too major will happen during the transition into next-gen.
Now I'm not worried about the three characters thing I don't think. I'm kinda liking the rich guy so think I'll just stick with him unless switching is going to have a major benefit.

This trailer literally made a large part of the game's population cry so I say a job well done on this trailer. Was also nice seeing Wada himself on the live stream after they revealed this say they won't release it until Yoshida (the director) feels it's ready. It's already looking pretty good though so just hope they keep it up.

This. Tired of everyone making Gaikai out to be the 100% solution. Gaikai will be nice I'm sure but some of us already have huge PS1 and PS2 libraries that would have to spend a ton of money in order to play again with that service. This one has more variety than the first one but you are going to kill the same enemies still once in a while. (I'll attach a picture that shows them). But really, how many games DON'T have it at least a little bit? Maybe this game genre just isn't your cup of tea, and I can respect that I'm not going to rag on anyone just because they don't like something I personally love.

This gun is obtainable in a side mission in the main game did this guy not even play through all of the original quests yet? This "news" is basically over a month old and this gun still isn't that impressive to warrant an article even if it was brand new. I found the gun a bit amusing at first but was extremely happy when I found a replacement for it because by that point I was nearly to the point of downgrading just to spare myself the constant nagging.
Isn't this article actually a bit mistaken? I could be wrong but the way I understood it you do get to keep your gun levels when you prestige but you still have to get to the appropriate level again to use it.
Still on the fence with this game but I have to give them credit for even getting me to that point. Zombies look interesting and I did get a lot out of combat training on the first Black Ops when friends and family are over so that being expanded is nice for me.
I started to feel the same way coming from playing Lilith in the first one (and nearly switched characters) but Maya just takes some time to realize her full potential. Ruin changes things a lot and then when you get Converge with it it just gets plain nasty.
I believe they said that the PS3 version is getting attention at TGS, so this October thing is kind of different from what we've been hearing.
What Spenok said pretty much. A lot of the gameplay demos (if not all) were actually being played on modest laptops so running this game is going to be much easier this time around.
I feel like I'm looking at a Steam deal.
