Other M takes place between Super Metroid and Fusion.
The Prime Trilogy is after the Original/Zero Mission and is before Metroid 2. Super Metroid is Metroid 3 and Fusion is 4. Other M is 3.5.
Prime Trilogy is 1.25, 1.5, 1.75.

From what I read he is talking about the Fanboys and the outspoken Hardcore fans of older series, which is a different kind of gamer, because I feel as though it is wrong to call all gamers Fanboys, so I consider them a different type of gamer. And I never once thought myslef as the Jesus of gaming or any kind of diamond. I have been gaming since the '80's and am noticing a trend in the attitude of the fans.

This is seriously a problem with "gamers" nowadays. Not all gamers, but a huge chunk. When I saw the trailer for the first time I was in dis-belief. This looks awesome. No boob-jiggle please. No crappy voice-overs, please. I would love to see a cohesive storyline with characters I can remember. Also, more nostalgia with more cut-scenes re-telling the past games. I hope this works. Pre-order for sure regardless, since I am a Metroid FREAK!
