I've noticed this. I'll get fed up with an area in a game, sleep it off, dream about the area and how to do it, wake up and dominate. It's just like leveling up yo. GO GET SOME SLEEP!
The Japanese version will have more emotion, voice-acting wise. It might be hard to get as emotional over our crappy English version.
You just can't portray the same Japanese motions in English. Such as, "My love for you is as bright as the yellow sun and the wind blowing through the trees." In English, that looks damn corny. In Japanese, it would have a totally different emotional meaning.
