Just two screens? Could have gotten more out of the Pulse trailer (which these are probably from) :/
I really hope CCP lands it big with this game. If they can nail the core gameplay down, make it fun and addicting as say BF3, with all the new integration stuff going as planned (and not so heavily relied on EVE users as far as winning goes) then they could rule the sci-fi genre for Ps3.
I believe it's the same as E3, just that the gun they used in the pulse video has a magnifying scope.
Though I agree, I don't hate it, but it does seem kinda weird, as the view of the ADS is halfway down the rail, where normally, like a game like BF3 has their set up, should still view the scope somewhat. What makes it weirder is that aiming down a red dot still shows the scope bits, while the one in the video, completely disappears. Maybe it's just that particula...
It's not F2P, they said you would have to pay a small entry fee to get the game, though don't quote me on that :p Also, I believe everything in the game will be free, it's just instead of "grinding" to get the virtual money in-game, you could just pay real money for instant cash. I hope there aren't any exclusive items people can only buy with real money though, unless it's DLC or something.
And yah, I think everyone heard about the Monocle xD
You won't get Demon's Souls on PC, that's never going to happen for more complex reasons. But it's awesome knowing that PC might get Dark Souls at least.
The more "pain", the more gain I say! and I'm sure From Software will agree with that statement...those sadist >.>
Well according to a recent article saying ND is hiring people to work on 1 mill. poly character models for a next gen game, I'd say majority of the half that worked on UC3 are already starting to work on, or at least getting ready to work on a new game, either the next Uncharted, or some other game (I pray Crash Bandicoot, even though that's sorta impossible).
The UC3 team isn't all gonna jump to TLOU, actually I bet only a minimum will join the TLOU team, probab...
Dual Typewriters here I come!
How can you be disappointed when you don't know what the game is about, nor have seen it yet? lol
If anything Move NEEDS this as a "Move only" title. If you played the Gladiator thing in Sports Champions, you would know that it was extremely fun swinging the sword around and blocking with the shield. So the thought of a more detailed game, perhaps 300 like, with good realistic graphics, and more focus on the controls, has me stoked! (Of course assuming the game ...
It says it will be played with the move, meaning it's a move game most likely. Otherwise they wouldn't have said "used", they would have said "supports", so it can't go multiplatform. Maybe the WiiU, but definitely not PC or xbox.
I hope they make 2 models for the Ps4 at launch. One with BC, and one without it. That way, people can save money if they have a Ps3 already. If Sony is still going the tech heavy route, then price should range from $350-450 depending on how much power they added, any new tech they added, and if it's BC or not.
Your number 5 makes no sense. Consoles WON'T become upgradeable thus you CAN'T add new tech into the console or add any tech already in the system down the...
Yah its good, though the size of the map (TDM has 1 map) may be a tad strange to get used to, as it's nothing but a bare wasteland. The building mechanic is definitely cool, and I usually rock the mechs in every game.
Also, this is directed at the people who've got the beta, not sure if it's just me, but Capture the Flag is broken. Idk if it's the devs fault in design or I've just really have gotten bad games, but NO ONE goes after the flag! Everyone stays...
Maybe, but I wasn't expecting next gen to be as big of a leap, or the Ps4 jacked with high tech to keep cost low, but if so then can't wait to see what next gen has in store for us!
Eh, I think either the info is wrong or it got perceived wrong. 100k poly models would be way more realistic and a good step up from what we have now, but a full 10x the current number of 20-60k poly's, on each individual character sounds impossible, even for next gen. I'll have to see it to believe it really, even for the Naughty Gods.
To use the face you have as an avatar
And you think they'll have mercy on you and the rest of the user base just because you pay for the service??
Hahah PC is the best thing to get for multiplatform titles despite what 360 users have to say. So there goes the "360 does better than Ps3 with multiplatforms argument"
So that just leaves Forza in your case. I'll throw in Gears and Halo to help your cause though. But there's literally no excuse for the lack of titles the 360 has when they're making so much money, yet Sony is STILL able to pump out new exclusives on top of new smash hit sequels year in a...
They probably thought "Oh no, but if we do make it scary it might scare the potential COD fans away!"
However I do find their statement rather hilarious, COD really is the bane of the gaming industry.
Yeah it was really intense in the beginning...but then it sorta turned into a Michael Bay movie :/
It's a shame that Wizards can get a good developer, with experience and power to back them up, to make a D&D video game. D&D has got sooooo much potential as a video game that it isn't even funny. Imagine a D&D game that had the traits of Dark Souls or Demon's Souls, in graphical power and combat, but had the whole Role playing and randomness aspect in the game as well, with TONS of lore and iconic creatures they have made throughout the years.
Those who pre-ordered got Back to Karkand expansion for free, which is MORE then enough for a pre-order bonus. The physical warfare package didn't matter to most, as you could unlock everything in the game anyways.
This however, shouldn't be shocking that it has a price, they did the same with BC2, and has nothing to do with Pre-ordering.
Played today and had a blast, though I now stick strictly to TDM, as CTF is still a mess majority of the time. I think to fix that mode, perhaps having pre-built walls around the base would help speed the game up a bit, in that the team won't spend 10 minutes simply constructing walls and other defenses.
Perhaps even have a pre-built vehicle station so the game can get going right from the start without having to use Rift to buy the vehicle station.
