Pre-rendered yes, CGI no. I imported the trailer to my Ps3, and slowed it down. There's considerable areas/tidbits that do not qualify for CGI, so it must be in-engine. CGI is basically perfect, look at Final Fantasy trailers, or even the Tomb Raider trailer shown at E3, every little detail is clean, crisp, and perfect. Slow the trailer down on an HDTV and if you have any knowledge in graphics then you would know it's not CGI.
It was sad to see all the "other&quo...
hmmm could be a good game, but Cliff wasn't kidding when he said it's radically different.
If this game wasn't revealed by him or Epic, I would have never knew it was from them 'o'
Agreed. There's no "hoops" at all, it literally took me 30 seconds to get my code for the game 'o'
I do agree with Yi-Long though, they've could at least say "hey, just informing you, that you can get this game for free, you know, so you don't end up wasting money buying it when you could have gotten it for free".
EA/DICE you sly~

just isn't SOLID enough for me.
I thought Santa Monica was one of the obvious suspects? I mean, think about it, there was that easter egg in Uncharted 3, and SSM is literally close to ND geographically.
Edit: Actually, Kojima may be involved after all after seeing/hearing what I've seen just a few minutes ago. I don't think it's him, but...hmm
Have you seen Neogaf and Game trailers forums? Your sadly mistaken if you think this game is just getting hype on here. I've heard no hype whatsoever for those other games you listed except maybe Epics new IP, but that's probably because 360 users think it will be exclusive ;P
Well obviously The Last of Us is the only reason people are gonna watch it, (even 360 fanboys hoping it crashes and burns lol), but honestly I'm also excited to see what Kojima has done with MGS Rising, despite not being a "true" MGS, whatever he touches turns out good!
Only watching for The Last of Us (OMG!!), and Metal Gear Rising. Epics game has slightly piqued my interest though.
Agreed. I used to LOVE playing recon with a bolt and 4x in BFBC2 (while I STILL played the objective mind you, mostly Conquest), it was fun as hell so glad it's making a return. Though I'm still an AR guy first and foremost :p But Tehran Highway and Caspian border I find sniping to be a tad funner
Shotguns have been a disappointment in this game as far as slugs go (as well as the animations), so knowing snippy wiffles are gonna make a decent replacement is good :)
So? Was Valve making Super 8 when they had that easter egg in Portal 2? No.
Agreed. Always thought that logo signified variety with all the different colors, all joining into one console.
I really hope they bring it back, perhaps modernize the logo a bit and make the colors not so retro.
The title should be changed to "This Gen" instead of "ALL TIME" -_-
Who said it was open world, or even a survival game?
Lol I guess it does sound neat depending on the design of the game/aliens, and would be freaking unique if you ask me. But really it doesn't match up with the latest teaser of the guy talking (who's obviously American talking about American activities) :p So we have to be humans again xD
Petty sure Sony didn't announce anything. Some random guy by the name Paul Gale was the one who leaked it. Do we know the guy is telling the truth and that those leaked pictures were really from the game and not just made up?
No.
This could even be a plot by Sony. Whereas the game isn't in development at all, but Sony sent some guy to stir up a commotion to see if the idea would get hype and if it did (which IT DID), they would begin development. Eit...
Sales will start to decline sooner or later. 360 was saved this year thanks to many big multiplatform games, but when a year comes with nothing to rely on but exclusives, then that's where 360 will struggle.
I guess you can compare the consoles to forms of exercise:
Wii - Sprinter. Shot off like a rocket (sales/popularity) but was the quickest to burn out. It gave it's final shot this holiday but will soon start to stumble/trip up again.
Wish the same can be said about the Sony Smash Bro's but no, it gets dogged on by Nintendo fans! "But Sony is just doing what it loves!" <-- doesn't mean they will not get criticized for it, which in all honesty they shouldn't unless it's as bad as this rip off.
The devs could have easily changed the way the main characters look, even the title font looks similar to Uncharted. As someone said, there's a limit. This game border lines infringeme...
hmm I guess you can call the Sony Smash Bro's a step in that direction, depending on the behavior in the game. Also their holiday bundle this season was another step in that direction, with both Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and Littlebigplanet 2 coming along with the system.
I don't mind Sony focusing a bit more on the casual market, so long as they provide a decent supply of core exclusives each year, I got their back.
Hopefully 3rd times the charm so they don't mess up PS4 prices :/ We'll see how this effects Vita sales though after it's out.
Right now people may be "eh...", but when they see their friends playing it or tons of videos/talk about how cool it is, I'm sure more will cough up the extra cash to buy one.
I hope the main objective is survival and it really focuses on that, but if they can add some really horrific, bone chilling moments/action/elements in the game on top of that survival aspect and amazing storyline and character depth, well, let's just say they can get paid in advance from me :)
