This is a big deal right now, this early on in the consoles life. It could mean many things. So all fanboyisms aside.

Yes, thats right. Lets talk about Other OS. Which I am sure all of 3% of PS3 owners used. It was a vulnerability and it was taken away. How exactly is that Sonys fault that someone decides to ruin it for everyone? Just like in this case if Microsoft enables DRM again, it wouldn't be our fault or theirs it would be forcing their hand because of hackers.
so yes harp on the Other OS drama, cause that proves how insanely intelligent you are.

Not exactly, but upon signing into your Xbox One you agree on the EULA to not sue them for anything including changing in service and their policy. If they feel this is a real threat the only retaliation would be to re-enable always online. Which would suck for everyone. ...

I beat the game last night, the reason it is more repetitious to me is the fact that.
1. The game is very very very linear, i mean you cant even check out most of the awesome stuff crytek put into the game.
2. The upgrade system is kind of a joke, I mean i forgot about it 3 chapters in and kept playing until the 6th chapter before i bought upgrades, and it did very little (aside from unlocking executions that was good)

My favorite part of the game was the gladiator level. My favorite thing to do in the game was chain combs into executions back into combos.
Noticed something odd. Can you only get a 50x combo multiplier? Everytime I got to 50 and kept going it would just go away even if my combo didn't break
Beat the game...I didn't like it that much
I honestly think it is around a 6.5/10
First 2 chapters were good...then the novelty of executions wore off, story didnt go any where until the last 3 chapters, which were awesome..
Sad though. OH, and it took me...exactly 6 hours and 48 minutes to beat it on Centurion.
You can't really "Rush" as the game wont let you progress until you beat the waves of enemies. ...

I would personally give it (at this point) a 7/10 maybe 7.5.
My biggest flaw is that there aren't enough differences between chapters as you slash through enemies to do an objective, only to slash through more.

I highly doubt reviewers actually take the time to "enjoy the amazing scenery" when they are reviewing games. That being said a lot of them are saying the game clocks in around 5-6 hours. So I guess depending on how you play it could be 7-8 but still in my eyes from playing it so far. Its not a 9/10. Subjectively or not.
So much repetition doesn't deserve that as a score. Graphically this game is gorgeous, Cryteks specialty, Story and Length being their weaknes...
once again, why is anyone doing this on youtube, the only way to compare this is with uncompressed (or less compressed) video or full screenshots.
I have the PS3 and PS4 version, its a big step up, the weather effects alone are amazing.
It's hard to explain but there is a noticeable difference in the 2 that YouTube will not justify.
So now Sony, be smart pay them to make it for PS4 as well.

My only assumption could be network congestion from everyone downloading stuff and what not. Hope thats it. Or this could really change everything for Microsoft.
PS3 was slandered for it, and now PS4 is really fast with downloading (even on day one)

I can agree with that, People need to start using their own heads and get what they want. We aren't sheep and we shouldn't follow a herd. I have never relied on reviews or anything of that nature to really convince me on anything.
For example. Ryse got horrible reviews, I still got it, 5 hours long..oh well I may have fun wit hit (I will know tonight)

I was lucky enought that both my PS4 and Xbox One are fine and working.
This isn't the case for everyone and it sucks, receiving something you spent your hard earned money on and having it not work out of the box. Especially two times.

I wrote a review on N4G for this, I go into good detail about how this game stacks up.
On that note, I do think a 5/10 is a bit harsh as my score wasn't much better.
