I agree that its not needed for a game like The Evil Within, especially cause of the pacing. It clear the devs wanted it this way since initially the PC version is also locked at 30fps. But movies don't suffer from latency issues that 30fps does with gaming. Thats my favorite part of playing with 60+ FPS just feels better.
Anyone notice the renderings in the background are missing? Maybe this is what helped squeeze out the extra 180p?

I can think of 11 Million reasons that this needs to be on PS4 and 5 Million why it needs to be on Xbox One.
I see the difference though it seems to be very subtle in this game, that may have more to do with the camera wobble distracting from the framerate.
Playing any game in 60fps is a better experience any time always. The Last of Us is basically the best proof of this. Yes 50$ for an entire TB more vs the initial cost of 1TB SSHD and you only get seconds over a standard boot on the stock HDD. There are plenty of test that argue your theory on how much "faster" the system is loading games etc. Its seconds at best. I am not saying having a SSHD isn't great but if you are the kind of person who owns almost every game worth owning and plan on more in the future, you may want to opt for the 2TB instead I plan on doing it either way in the near futu...
I have a 1TB Hybrid drive or SSHD, and its not worth it over double the storage, you shave maybe 1-5 seconds loading times on some games others aren't effected. That is because the way the caching works on the drive.
If I could I would replace my 1TB drive with a 2TB as i am more than half full with the games I own (mainly digital) and its not even a year in yet :D.
This is common for games like this. It's all about the $ which is bull. I mean honestly this should have never been marketed as a Xbox One exclusive anyway. I assume last minute changed were made after the game didn't sell to its potential and now we get buggy broken PC ports of Xbox One exclusives. Ryse won't be any different either.

THE MP is awesome fun. I just hope the campaign isn't as repetitive as the Beta was. It was all hack this fight waves of progressively harder enemies repeat.

1) 60 minutes is more than enough time to consider purchasing a game especially if you're having fun with it. It has nothing to do with "marketing Scheme" it is there as a feature limited or not its still a cool idea.
2)In-case you haven't noticed Sony has really changed their ways in how they handle their "marketing" and how they handle their PR
3) I agree about the DLNA/Media Features but those are already said to be coming soon....

So far the most i've waited was 15 minutes to get in a match really ridiculous and i love this game so much.
CLockTower is a great series, ranging from SNES PSONE and PS2.
Game is also super rare and cost anywhere from 40-120$ on PSone. Its a great game though.
