Okay so my PC has a ROG mobo one of the best
4.0 Quadcore hyperthreaded to 8 cores
16 gb DDR 3 memory
with a GTX 680 DDR5 2 gb
so don't get me wrong I find the specs of these new
consoles still pretty impressive (for consoles) but I've had these specs
on my modded PC for the past year...couldn't Sony and Msoft done better on the specs on these consoles?
I own 2 PS3's and 1 Xbox 360 I'm neither a Xbox or PS3 fanboy I like both consoles evenly and probably will buy both of their next gen devices so I'll in put my 2 Cents in here.
First WHO CARES ....I really could care less who is in first or second place as long as I can play the games that I want on both systems.
Can I play PS3 exclusives that are awesome...check

I'm buying the xbox 720 day 1 probably the PS4 like 3 years later...
My PC rocks and is superfast and it has steam and it connects to my Samsung HD led...so what's the steambox suppose to offer me? for 500 dollars no thanks. I won't even buy it for 200 dollars I'de rather buy another PS3 for that price. Sorry Steam I luv u but steambox just doesn't seem worth it sorry I'm happy with my xbox and my PC thanks but no thanks.
Very bad news...
Gamers would get even pickier when it comes to buying new games...because many SUCK. which means fewer sales which means reducing subpar games to lower prices here is some good examples....FFXIII was 59 dollars when it came out turned out to be a crappy game I bought it for 19.99 not too long after it came out because of bad reviews...expect the same for crappy titles..

Well I wasn't going to buy a PS4 till much much later but Ill put in my 2 cents..
If they do release the PS4 with this lock on second hand sales I won't be buying a PS4 ever...90% of my bought PS3 games are second hand because I can't afford overpriced PS3 games
If MSOFT follows suit, which I'm betting they won't they I'll definetly only buy the 720 because I can only afford buying new games for one system. My guts tell me that MSOFT...

halo 4 is on one platform and BO2 on 3 platforms so
there sales are really not that impressive.
Also, even with all that revenue Activision is losing lots

What the article should of mentioned was that Halo not Call of Duty changed the first person shooter genre. COD has blindsided many journalists to feel like COD has been our FPS savior...how wrong they are.

I think Sony's tired of playing catchup in any case I don't think MSfot is doing anything special to please Sony. I might even go as far as saying that right now Msoft is dictating the Console market just the way Sony was doing back in the day...sad really
