In any capacity, congratulations, as we all know, we have to do what it takes to prevail out here. Hopefully, this brings you all closer to whatever goals are set for your platform. Prosperity is an occasion that is best celebrated by those who are familiar with its company.

Just because he's a mod doesn't mean that his opinions, biases, or otherwise should be curved. If any of us don't like how things are handled, we have a few options: deal with it, get over it, leave, or start our own platform. The later, of course, will also be populated by individuals who won't like the way we choose to do things either. At its core, N4G is a place where we can all agree, disagree, debate, and still collectively enjoy gaming. What else is there?

Exactly....delusional idealism is the path of every dictatorship.

I'm looking forward to it.

LMBO. You report how you're going to play your games all day 1 on GP, and I said how I was going to play my games on day 1 as well. You celebrate the benefits of GP, and I celebrate purchasing my games. Chill out, champ. It's not that serious. You're the real MVP.🤣

I'll definitely be playing Monster Hunter, Atomic Heart, Wo Long, Lies of P, and Hollow Knight on day 1, too. I've got all but two paid for since you can't pay for them yet. I just subbed to DevPass. You get to play all your games on day 1, and you get the privilege of paying full retail. Best value in gaming.

Hellblade slaughtering GoW? I mean, I'm not saying it's going to be a bad game, but the level of polish seen in the GoW titles is a force to be reckoned with. Perhaps it'll be an attempt by MS to have their own killer app. I like Hellblade, it was a fairly decent game.

You say flawed, in what why? Battery? Given that it has the built-in convenience of charging, I'd say problem solved. In any case, I've got mine pre-ordered, so I'll report back once I get it.

Just a few more days.

I was more speaking on SSD transfer speeds, multitasking, or the like. People just want the easiest path to their entertainment. Complexity often repels adoption.

I do understand your points while these things should be pretty standard, though their goal is to keep functions as simple as possible. There are some of us who would take the time needed to learn the functionality, but there is a larger mass that wouldn't. The Switch is so successful because of its simplicity, while the XB and PS require more effort to take advantage of their benefits.

These all seem to gravitate on the nitpicky side of things. It just seems like people are playing less to focus on things that have nothing to do with the enjoyment of gaming. What do any of these things add to the overall experience of gaming? What happened to buying a game, pressing start, and playing it? Now we need QR because our patience to wait 6 seconds for a game to load has become too much to handle.

Why...?

CP did attempt to introduce something different, but people don't often want to learn anything new. The combat in CP was far from hard. It was just different. It took some practice, and it was like water after the initial challenge. DS looks to not bring anything more than a graphical overhaul, which is a welcomed addition, though a more modern combat system would also be welcomed. CP deserves more credit than it's receiving as the main thing it did wrong was not be DS.

Being that DS is one of my all-time favorites, I can say that it has shooting mechanics with absolutely no combat mechanics. Perhaps swinging a gun and stomping is combat to some, but CP actually tried something different. Resident Evil, DS, The Evil Within, Silent Hill, etc, all are devoid of a dedicated combat system outside of gunplay.

It had the best combat system of all the DMCs, with the story being the most coherent over the usual nonsense we're forced to sit through. I absolutely loved this DMC with only 5 coming in a close second.

Should be able to afford? According to who? Those not willing to? Sony has $10-20k TVs, $7k cameras, and $5k surround sound systems because they market those product to a class of people who can afford them. Bose, Klipshe, etc are the same. Everything is not meant to be afforded by everyone, these are simple antidotes taught to most as children, I guess some missed the class.

As inflation continues to increase there will be many otherwise normal things out of reach for mos...

Elitist? Not at all. I just don't get advocating for only the benefit of those who don't want to afford the cost that the market demands. Hell, Sony, MS, and Nintendo are free to charge what they please, but you'll never catch me complaining or expecting access for less. Why stop at gaming? Let's just go at Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Rolex, or the like because why would there be anything outside of the masses affordability? That's not consumer friendly at...

They can't see what's not convenient. Perhaps if someone else read it for them and charged them $15 monthly, they'd see it.🤣

It's not surprising that he's only thinking about himself, but what is $70? Why not give up the hobby if you aren't willing to afford the cost of maintenance? What's suspect is the fact that you say you only have a PS5, though you champion anything pro XB and anti Sony. Weird. Is that because you have to be adult enough to pay for gaming on PS while you only have to pay for access on XB?
