I guess so, i wonder how free retro games will effect the sales of full fledge 60 dollar ones.
i just think theres no point in buying new games if i can already enjoy these great classics for free instead.
The real question is how will free games effect 60 dollar ones? you see if i can play snes games and all those old gems than ill likely end up passing on paying for newer games.
Why would i pay for a 60 dollar game if i can just play good ol retro games for free? and still have tons of fun?

To be honest the ps3 is one hell of a machine with a lot of good games out and coming. Don't really see the benefit of this really. major hack just to play snes roms on a console under random checks?

Which is sad, they are basing this on some type of storyline they've been working on, yet is like there are repeats of similar characters, thats no variety. If they want to go that route than simply do so with cover boy/girl characters and no subs.

No...the psp2 is a different animal. Way more powerful than this device and is said it will have to physical nubs.
This device is great for gaming, but as a phone is severly lacking some unique features. In this market, the newer phones now are coming equipped with things like 2 cameras, internal memory, hdmi and higher specs and resolution.

Psp2, yes ive said it, is its intended competition not this device. Why if that were the case this thing ill be a lot more powerful and you would start seeing or hearing about upcoming games for it.

I must admit the only reason why i waited for this years CES was for the infamous psphone nothing else.
Psp 2 will arrive at e3 if before that at gamescon, but more likely at E3.
psphone i feel should have been announced since its been leaked already, yo know get that out of the way already with an official reveal. I don't know Sony has its reasons i suppose; but i am disappointed none of the less.
lol tell me about it, and the engine which GT5 was built on is finished laying ground work for GT6, yes i said it GT6 which i predict will arrive shortly after Forza 4 the following year.
Killzone 2 took a few years to make, but after the engine was set to go, killzone 3 only took less than that and now the game is almost upon us.
Same thing with GT. These sales numbers mean that all the money Sony invested in this game are paid off and is already looking gre...
The way I see it, I thik some people are quick to dismiss this device because they feel its not going to make an impact in the market.

Same here, whats attractive about this phone is the buttons. This set up is unique and full of win. Yeah there are emulators already but with a phone like this, those can too be enjoyed on,this device. Perhaps more so because of its control scheme, I cant think of a more enjoyable experience when it comes to this.
Also the thicknes of this phone makes it bulky, but looking at the market I am sure sony like everone else has been taking notes from apple and chose to stick with ...
Think of it like this, you pay to play call of duty online. Then you also pay for the extra maps? But thats ofcourse after paying 60 for the game at retail.

The thing here is I would be incline to agree with you with this assesment. Howevery ever since the game launched its stayed number one in erupean charts, holding off and fending off newer releases. So I believe these numbers have a merit, specially since the game came out on christmas you can say.
