I highly doubt the whole ps4 in 2012 happening, the ps3 is still at 300, if anything they just started making a decent profit on the thing and will probably announce a price drop to gain some much needed sales boost and announce a slew of hidden exclusives at their show.
Including new move titles announced and more on upcoming games like uncharted 3, resistance 3, twisted metal, last guardian and so on.
And on top of that also I do see them using the show to announce...

I know what you are saying, but i would think it make sense for them to apply that same concept elsewhere as well, since 3g has become a common thing in the U.S.
The issue is how will they handle the whole 3g service, like i can see them releasing some terms and condition on their handheld as soon as you turn it on, stating what the rules and regulations for such service are.

Why is apple even mention in the same breath as these two, yeah i get the whole casual market the whole 5 dollar games.
But traditional handhelds i feel have their own market which has nothing to do with apple or android for that matter.
People who play games on those devices are generally people who only play real short periods of times and not all the time are they looking for games.

I mean look, if the pc was a platform where Sony generated a good portion of its profits like valve does, than you would see this take place.
I mean put it like this if valve said lets make a deal, lets make steam a natural part of the psn and ill give you guys a cut in exchange for ps3 exclusives on pc.
Than Sony would see it as a very viable business proposition and say "well then ps3 to pc it ...

thats because they are given that freedom and privileged to do so. Sony in this regards is smart and by the looks of it are willing to do anything to try and get as many people as possible on their platform.

The psp is going to become like the ps2 and get less and less support until it is eventually discontinue, and the psp2 will become like the ps3 with a large host of exclusives.

Yeah but those are just lazy implementations, there are games out there that offer both unlock ables and trophies to boot.
Trophies really have no meaning except its a bragging right system if you want to look at it that way.
