Honestly, I just dont know if the wiiu will have any major impact, if the other two ignore it and for the first year and half its games look slighly better than whats currently being offer at a cheaper price.
It could mean slow sales, akin the 3DS. This also the depends on marketing and price.
If the wiiu costs anywhere close to 500, it will just sit there collecting dust.

When you come to think of it, the vita has the inputs and interface to easily adapt to these games as well. So in a "sense" they could have a Trojan horse in their hands provided they handle things right.

Once this buyout is complete, they should really look back at their designs. Sony is one of the few companies along apple and others to really make sleek/sexy devices and I think they should stick to that tradition.

Sony has their strategy well in place, I am sure ms must have a reason why they do certain things differently.
Eitherway whoever thinks otherwise regarding Sony's relations with the indie, must be in pure denial.
This is good news for Sony and its userbase and congrats to them on all their success.

Well the thing is, even if Sony announces a game which might not arrive soon, it still manages to release other ips (of which are part of those announcements as well)in their place. So I dont see how thats much of a problem, this year alone saw over 5 exclusives. DC universe online, littlebigplanet 2, killzone 3, socom 4, motorStorm apac, infamous 2, white knight chronicles 2, resistance 3, uncharted 3 and ratchet and clank all 4 one.
