Well what can I say? Sony has funded a masterpiece.
I understand that and I can appreciate that sort of philosophy. But having a few classics fill up the roster helps.
Also I dont think they should limit themselves when it comes to software. Metal gear solid collection is headed to the vita and anything on the psn store should be compatible with the platform.
Silent hill collections, zone of enders collections, sly collections, ico collections, jak and daxter collection which is due out sometime next year.
All these perfects its just amazing, real impressive.

Sony is profitible in the gaming sector, and I believe within a year and a half they would have pass their competitor.
Japan is the key here, and the media always downplays this due to the size of the country. Everytime an article of the 360 failing in japan appears, there is another claiming the region isnt important. Everytime I read these I go well....why dont ms just leave...

Yeah in the us and in the uk yes the 360 will have a successful holiday period. Elsewhere? Idk I mean the vita is coming out in japan and uncharted though not call of duty is out today.
However ms is likely to have a big holiday, perhaps the biggest of the 3. We will see how it all pans out.
I suppose there are dice fans out there, ok. But like i said before had both games launched on the same day I dont think this game would have sold anywhere near this mark.
Battlefield is a big game amongs the hardcore just not as big as call of duty in terms of appeal which by the way goes beyond the call is meant to answer.
There are plenty of fans of one or the other franchises that simply buy both because of their friends buys them, or simply to get in on ...
Its like the vita will be fine, its already moving units in japan and the thing isnt even out.
When people make mention of smartphones I scratch my head because naturally people buy phones for phone calling and texting. Giving the nature of how complex these vita games are, one could only imagine what that kind of experience do to them phone batteries.
Then comes the question of... would It be smart to sacrafice my phone's battery life solely on gaming? W...
lol I hear ya, but atleast this is an indication of a food game according to most. So I suppose I cant complain, batman ac, skyrim, battlefield 3 ect they are all getting good scores but non seem to be matching the scores this game is getting.
That alone tells you something. Ofcourse this doesnt mean the game is a guaranteed game of the year winner, but at least we can say it is a strong contender for that honor.

I feel like a lot of these games will end up having some form of cross play.
Littlebigplanet I can see some cross play co-op.
Marvel vs capcom 3 and to an extend all the fighting games that are boundto arrive to this platform could feature cross play versus mode. Again all it would take is a small update.
Ridge racer vita is pretty much ridge racer 7, so cross play wouldnt be an issue to have considering wipeout.

Thats what I said about certain characters in marvel vs capcom 3, particularly those from resident evil. But hey, what I do I know somehow they made it work.
What I always had in mind besides a fighting game was a racing game featuring Sony's brass. But nothing like mario kart if anything more like "motorstorm" with added personality and effects.
