It seems I'm in the minority on this one. I liked the first one a lot. The MP was the most fun I had on a shooter in a while. I was sick and tired of the BF and CoD formula. I'll definitely buy this.
I agree with legend. I love Kratos and it's one of my favorite series of all time but the last one was straight garbage. I was so pumped for it and after I played it for a 4-5 hours I couldn't stand it anymore. I traded it in a few days after I bought it.

Wolfenstein was amazing and I just finished that on Saturday night. As for Homefront, I thought the first game was great, especially the MP. Better than CoD and BF IMO. I'm definitely getting this one. I just hope the online community is bigger this time because people were missing out in a grat game. If you're tired of the CoD and BF crap, give this a try.
Logic, it's a single player only game. I just finished it last night and it is by far the best game I've played so far for this gen of consoles. I've played Killzone, Need for Speed Rivals, Knack, inFamous SS, Ryse, Warframe and Resogun and IMO Wolfenstein wins hands down. It's a must play if you ask me. Now I'm about to move on to Watch Dogs later this week.
I'm in the same situation too. Two year old at home and the wife. The only time I'd get to use it was late at night when everyone's sleeping or when she take the boy to grandmas for the weekend. It definitely couldn't be the only way to game for me, that's for sure. Sound is a huge factor for me while gaming. I absolutely love the Sone wireless Gold headset. If it can't reproduce that quality of sound it may be a turn off for me also.
If that was the price I'd jump on board too but the question remains, will the camera and the move come with it? If so I can see paying $250. I'd be happy with that price and it'd be easy to pay with a preorder.
Why is it "next gen"? The PS4 and X1 are current gen now. PS3 and 360 are last gen consoles. I say the PS4 and X1 are current gen and you my friend are stuck in last gen technology.

Agree with the 9. I'm loving this game and I'm only made it through chapter 4. Just last night I was playing and doing some exploring and I was asked if I wanted to take a nap. I didn't and kept exploring and was asked again but it said "nightmare" do if course I took that nap and I was playing old school 16 bit Wolfenstein! It was awesome!
I have to agree. I am having a blast playing this game! It's really growing on me, the gruesome kills, the strong shooting mechanics, the awesome weapons and even the story. It's all top notch. Sure has satisfied my need for a good FPS that isn't focused on MP. Just what I needed for my new console.

I just picked this up today and I put about an hour into it and I'm loving it. I never like the Grand Theft Autos but for some reason this is really engaging and makes you think putside the box. 8.5 seems fair so farbut the fun I'm having is a 10!
