Crimson, while reading the comments on this page, I've come across the same complaint multiple times "we shouldn't be upset that we didn't get anything close to what was promised?" Other posters have continuously asked to explain what was promised and not one of you complainers have yet to provide a response. So I'm calling you out, provide an example other than graphical downgrade, that was promised and they didn't deliver on? I'm in the party that enjoyed t...
Most open world games do have repetitive missions writing them, most recently MGS which I returned and didn't finish. Watchdogs, I loved it. Some of the missions that were repetitive were actually fun tho so didn't mind doing them again and again.
I disagree Legion, I loved Watchdogs. I liked it much more than GTA, Crackdown, and any other open world game I've played. It was different, had to plan, strategize, hack building security, create distractions by hacks, etc...this game was amazing. I saw it as something fresh and entertaining. I can care less about the graphical downgrade, the game still looked and played great on my PS4. Im definitely getting WD2, day one.
I'll add to that. I play games like they are meant to be played, and when I come across a cheater that I can unload a magazine in or can't seem to hit them, that's unfair to me. It's frustrating to say the least. Having fun, doing well with friends online, getting a streak going then you run into this p.o.s. cheater and ruins the entire experience. Games are meant to be fun, I don't get the satisfaction a cheater gets by cheating. They didn't win, they cheated by gaini...
Loved the first Watchdogs, definitely gonna preorder this one.
Not too harsh if you knew he rules and decided to break them anyway. Besides, why cheat in a game? It's a damn game, meant to challenge you and make you think and come up with different tactics. Cheaters aren't good at anything in life and nobody likes a cheater besides like minded losers. They are the bottom of the barrel gamers. Life time ban is warranted, no matter your age. If you didn't learn your lesson at an early age not to cheat from sports and parents, I guess leave it u...
If this turns out to be true, I'm definitely trading in my x1 towards the Scorpio. Solely for Oculus support. I was recently looking in to building my own PC just so I could get into VR gaming, and the Oculus has the best reviews so far. With this, I'm definitely in.
I agree with you exactly Lightning Mr Bubbles, and that's why I think it's BS. It feels like something for next gen, not a upgrade that's 4x more powerful than the launch console! That's the type of news you'd expect for the reveal of the PS5 or X2 or something. Not an upgrade for the current gen consoles. If this becomes the norm, why not just become a PC gamer?
I expected the game to be short and repetitive, wasn't expecting the next blockbuster game here. If it's really that short and they want full price $60, I'm out. I'd purchase for $40 tho, my son and I would have a blast playing this.
Is this even a question? I know people who gave up on the Division after a month of playing it.
Prove it
Agree with you completely. I am absolutely loving uncharted right now and have loved the series from the beginning. I also can't wait for gears 4, that's why I always but both consoles, but there's no way in heck that gears will beat uncharted for GOTY. Completely different styles and gears won't match it in graphics period. Look at the animation of the characters, their lips when talking, skin when turning their heads. I've never seen anything like it. The landscapes and ...
I'm playing the game now, just outside taking a break. When I saw the first reveal of Uncharted 4, I thought it was impossible to achieve that on a console and that it wouldn't look as good as the E3 reveal. I can say for a fact that I'm blown away how this game looks and plays so far. It looks better than the reveal IMO.
All my friends were pushing me to get this game and I was hesitant to get it and they eventually stopped bugging me, I told them it was too much like Destiny and I wasn't falling that again. Now I read this article and my suspicions have come true. Glad I didn't waste my money on this.
Well Unreal01, I'm in agreement with you. I tried GTA but hated it, love Watchdogs tho. I'm looking forward to this game and will definitely purchase day one.
I personally didn't like the beta. Just the same ol stuff over and over. All these FPS are doing is adding different scenery, and the map I played for Doom Beta was incredibly bland. I was expecting something different I guess. I was excited for this when I first heard about it but after playing and watching others play the beta, I'll pass.
TLOU was by far the best opening sequence I've ever played, it's still fresh in my memory like I played it yesterday.
Well, just my luck. I renewed both about two weeks ago for $45 per.
I was coming here to post your exact statement. I'm 36 and believe Naughty Dog and Uncharted to be the best games I've ever played. That said, I'm also buying Ratchet and Clank for myself when it comes out.
I never understood the driving complaint. I thought the driving was great, never had an issue on PS4. What port were you playing? I'm also sold, I really enjoyed the first. Lot of cool new stuff, at least for me, to do. Hacking a persons game was exciting and something I've never really experienced in gaming.
