Partly the reason why I bought the PS3 because I really am into my hardware as well I love techy stuff but I am no audio/visual guru but am good on advice in some aspects or areas.
What I am trying to point out that the 360 and PS3 are supposed to be marketed as GAMES CONSOLES yet the PS3 is failing to be just that and instead seems to ...
With the games visuals, the amount of gaming content and its game time being around 50hrs its all on...Wait for it...
ONE DVD!
WOW looks like its only possible on DVD because if it was on blu-ray we would have to wait another 2yrs for the game so the developers could throw in 10gb worth of audio and who knows what other nonsense.
With multiple discs? Blue Dragon is on 3 discs but its because of lots of CGI.
Bioshock lasts around 20hrs if you dont rush it and take your time and that has lots of gameplay and has some CGI at the end.
MGS4 can be done on the Xbox 360 Kojima himself said it is possible want me to find the quote??
The only thing is its easier slapping it on 1 disc like the blu-ray disc rather than multiple discs.
Sure there might be limiations to the disc...
The level of detail, the various colous and lighting and environments in Bioshock easily means it is a better looking game than gears.
Also imo Bioshock has far better single player story and gameplay and does something much better and does something new that other shooters have not implemented the way Bioshock has.
Oh the game is FULL alright its full of cr@p.
So far the Xbox 360 has proven that DVD still has plenty of space for not only the very best in visuals, 5.1 audio and gameplay.
Beit that Blue Dragon another amazing game is on 3 discs is because it has a LOT of CGI movie sequences and took me like 10secs to take out the disc and swap it.
Also DVD is faster at loading than Blue Ray.
360 games have proven to be very good sellers in Japan like Gears of War, Blue Dragon, Dead Rising!
I am sure this would be a great addition and it since Dead Or Alive is out in Japan and is online playable I think SEGA are being their stupid self as usual especially with the amount of rubbish games they have released thus far which have all been flops.
Multiplayer online with Streets of rage 2 thats just awesomeness!

Even though I still think number 1 was the best, for 400points its far better priced than most other arcade games that cost double!

Coming from EA can't be anything amazing, in fact when was the last time a developer or publisher made such a claim it was anything to get excited about?
Anyways HALO fans and or console gamers will be busy but that doesn't mean those with a decent enough PC can't give Crysis a go, on my current graphics card I think I will not be able to enjoy the demo and dont think it justifies upgrading for the sake of 1 game like I used to...

I think this and Mass Effect will be 2 graphically defining games on the Xbox 360, amazing what a DVD can do but then its all down to the tools the developers use to make these games ;-)
Considering the amount of problems it has?? I really enjoyed Oblivion and was really looking forward to the game that I had the Collectors Edition on pre-order.

Firstly Oblivion does NOT look better on the PS3 you want proof? Look at the environments in fact look at the start of the game in the jail...
According to one of the devs as a guy on the official Two Worlds forum went to PAX and asked him some questions.
I cancelled my pre-order, I think I will wait until the patch comes out as there are far too many problems with this game to part with my money.
I mean the game Half Life 2 aint gonna look that amazing from its current state on the PC on max settings.
EA just want to mint the franchise since Valve said there aint gonna be a Half Life 3 sometime ago in an interview which is a shame.
And its on Xbox 360 only so is Mass Effect another 360 only title.
I just cant wait to get my hands on the LEGENDARY EDITION!!
