Well firstly this doesn't confirm a price cut as Microsoft have not officially announced one but if they do just before X-Mas I think they will sell tons of consoles.
However personally I wouldn't mind getting the new one with the new CPU and GPU 65nm size, but that still won't solve the DVD noise problem because that is really loud.

The NPC's seem to get in your way ON PURPOSE, they looked a bit poor visually, the combat was terrible - how is it realistic that they came at you one at a time and they didn't really even try to hurt you! They just came at you and that's it!

Microsoft have NOT released the official price yet and it better not be £330 thats a complete rip off, $480 in the US but over $600 in the UK.

My PS3 is using my HDMI connection as I only have one and I invested in MONSTER component cables which aren't cheap either.
The old one showed far more detail into MasterChiefs armour and was really HIGH res as well.
The new one looks FLAT and dull and looks like Medium res textures.
The old one made MC's suite look more like metal as well sure it was too shiny perhaps from the Sunlight?
But I think Bungie should have brough more detail into the armour and show how beat up MC was from the fighting as they kinda pointed out in last years trailer.

Exactly, a friend of mine in the USA told me that some blu-ray only movies can be bought in some parts of Europe (not UK) on HD-DVD! And he even compared the quality side by side and said HD-DVD looked a lot clearer.
Terminator 2 is on HD-DVD and so is Underworld 2 in Spain I think or and France with English and has subtitles which can be turned off.

Someone said in the US a blu-ray player is $399 well I am suprised that both HD-DVD and Blu-ray players are selling at all in Europe especially the UK considering the latest HD-DVD player is like over £400 and Blu-ray players are like £500 or so.
