Thank you for taking the time to warn us, appreciate it.

Also true, but why can't we go back? While I'm mostly ok with the model (because in some cases it is accompanied by unnecessary grinding, Mortal Kombat X), it is the fact that they make it sound like they are doing us a favor that bothers me. If they cared about the players not having time to go through the game then I'm sure they could find a way to solve the problem without including microtransactions.

At least MGS will be good enough to offset the inclusion of ...

So they are doing us a favor by charging us for content that could simply be unlocked with a cheat code? Great, putting in those codes is too grueling, I'm glad they are taking us into consideration.

So they made the content harder to access and you purchased the items to avoid needless grinding? Sounds very similar to the pay to win model.

The Wii U was a huge disappointment for me. I thought it would carry me through this generation alongside the PS4, but I ended up sticking with my PS3.

Nintendo should have realized that the tablet was a mistake and they should have offered the system with the pro controller for a lower price. How could they expect third parties to develop something for it when not even Nintendo knew what to do with it. Microsoft did the right thing by leaving the Kinect behind, Nintendo sho...

Interesting topic, a couple of games come to mind. A recent one is Far Cry 3 with some sweet crocodile action. That first encounter was just so awesome. The sharks come in a close second place, just because you can see them coming. Far Cry 4 doesn't even come close, although the honey badgers are just as evil as Vaas himself.

I would add Sons of Liberty to the list, too. That whole sequence at the end was, in my opinion, very well made and very creepy. A combination of fe...

I agree, they should go for both modes. I loved the way the matches went down with the system they had, it was intense. To have the option for "out of bounds" kills would just add more content to the game.

A couple of hours? It's great that you're enjoying it, but your opinion might change. I loved the game at the beginning, but by the time I finished I was disappointed, frustrated and bored. I forced myself to finish it so I could forget about it.

In my experience, the game's problems and issues become more apparent as you progress. At the beginning it feels fun because the game still has the same solid combat we have come to expect. The way they handled the story ...

I didn't know system noise was an issue for some people. My PS4 seems fairly quiet to me, every once in a while I hear the disc drive going crazy, but it only lasts for a handful of seconds.

I do hope the new PS4 model means that the DS4 will get a new model as well, one with better battery life. Now that's an issue I would like to see resolved.

Alright, I need some help here. While randomly exploring the map I stumbled upon a village with enemies, these guys were low 20s and my level is 13. Took a while, but killed them all.

Turns out it's all tied to a contract, "The Mystery of the Byways Murders". I decided to stick with it. After some frustrating moments I finally managed to slay the beast. For my trouble I get 22 useless experience points. I get more for killing random enemies. Is this that XP gli...

A removable hood that also acts as a mask would be superior to this idiotic idea. Also, where the hell does he place his hat? Wouldn't it be an inconvenience to climb buildings with a top hat in your pocket? Oh right, we don't have to climb anymore, we fly with a magic rope or something.

Why would he focus on melee combat if he has the assassins' most lethal and trusted weapon in his wrist at all times? Why would he only wear one? His ancestors dominated with two,...

It's not the same, though. Because AC3, which I thought was the the worst until I played Unity, felt like the logical next step. I hated it, but not because of the changes. For instance, the tree climbing felt great and epic, but the maps were so badly designed that you had to go out of your way to go up a tree and in most cases the trees didn't take you anywhere, something Black Flag fixed.

Unity, on the other hand, took the series in a different direction. Yes, the ...

Same here, I got my PS4 day one and the controller looks like new, even though it has been through several hours of play time. I also bought a blue controller about two months back (love the color), and it's just as good.

I find it very interesting that some people are having such a bad time with their controllers, meanwhile the only problem I have with mine is the horrible battery life.

Wait, what? Could you expand on that? I have not had such problems. If I'm using the youtube app while a game is suspended, and I suspend the system with the youtube app running, then when I turn on the system again it goes directly to youtube, with the game running in the background.

Why would it not be reasonable that the car selection determines if you buy a racing game? If the cars a person wants to use are not present, I wouldn't blame that person for skipping the game. Maybe it's just me, but I usually stick with a handful cars. More so if the game allows heavy modding, like Forza and GT.

@a7xgemini

The point of my comment is to let people know they don't need to have a PS4 to link the game to their account, they only need a PSN account and access to the PlayStation Store website. Something that Sony should really advertise, as it is a great feature. It also works with PS+ games, if anyone is wondering.

In your comment, you mention that you can link the game to your account and download it later, but not that you can do it from the websit...

Agree, everyone should give it a try. To anyone out there that's interested but doesn't have a PS4 at the moment, all you need to do if you have a PSN account is access the PlayStation Store website and "buy" it from there (it is free). That way it will be linked to your account and you may have a shot at downloading it later when/if you get a PS4.

There's probably something else going on. I made it work with 10mb down, and the performance was solid.

Mortal Kombat 9 has one of the most ridiculously dumb achievements/trophies, which consists of mastering every character. In order to do so, you need to have 24 hours of playtime with each character. Doing so requires 672 hours, who approved that?
