I might not agree with the way you worded it, but I agree with the gist of your comment. In an era where funding is a big limiting factor, often leading to anti-consumer tactics such as microtransactions, it is--at the very least--worrying that so much money is being funneled into big-name stars.

I can only hope there's enough money left to make the excellent game we all want to play.

For me it's not really a problem with the price, I just need to know the console is worth it. I'm alright with the announced price, as long as I don't end up with another Wii U situation.

I use it all the time with YouTube. Nothing slows down when I use it, and I can easily control it with my phone.

People's sentiment towards microtransactions is affected by generational memory. Depending on when you were born and when you picked up gaming, you might accept they are part of gaming as we know it today, or you might feel like they are inexcusable considering at some point we got the same content for free.

Personally, I find the worst type to be the ones that emulate "cheats". Microtransactions that level you up, that give you currency, skills and abilities,...

That might be true (I disagree, with the exception of He-Man, I would totally want to be him), but then what do you do with that information? Designing characters around the concepts you think people want to see is pointless when it comes to trying to satisfy everyone (at least in this regard). Regardless of intention, it is much more "safe" to over-sexualize everyone, that is, if you are looking to be "fair."

You could also not over-sexualize any charac...

Why would his standard of greatness affect what you call those games? Different opinions.

Edit: There are no facts there, all opinions. What you fail to realize is if people are buying games like Watch Dogs or Call of Duty then that's where the market is at. If the games you enjoy are disappearing then you, as a consumer, are being phased out. People are not idiots for liking games you consider subpar.

I mean, I'm not agreeing with Takwin here, but that title doesn't really help. I can tell you I don't want to give them the click just because of that.

Yeah, you will get a code right after payment. I'm guessing it would only be valid in the US PS Store, perhaps someone else here will be able to confirm.

I've used amazon to buy digital codes and the process is extremely easy.

I do, as in I am expressing a different opinion. Never said you were wrong. That said, I will agree with the notion that games have not really excelled when it comes to originality; most games this generation have been a disappointment in my eyes.

Disagree. The gameplay was great, the combat was fun, it offered a real sense of progression in terms of feel and physical appearance, it had variety with a wide range of options, and it offered a deep experience for those that wanted to get into the lore to become more efficient in combat.

The animations looked iffy at times, one particular fight comes to mind, but they managed to nail a lot of good moments. Other than that, combat animations were perfect, with the occasion...

I disagree, they've done a lot of good. From small games like Grow Home, to heavy hitters like Black Flag and Far Cry (Far Cry 3, anyone? People loved it, including the DLC). They also made a major contribution to the platform genre with Rayman, and delivered quite a surprise with South Park.

It just seems like they are doing worse than they actually are because they keep pushing ACs out the door every year. Something that might change if the rumors are true.

There is context, it's Dead or Alive. That's part of the charm of the game. If you like some aspect of the game, but you can't look past the fan service, then it's not for you.

They don't, they have a list of brands that are not eligible for promotional offers and it covers just about everything that is related to video games.

I disagree, I think they can be worth it. I love Fallout, but I also loved Batman, and well, that didn't turn out well. Reality is one trailer and nice words don't cut it anymore, I need information. I've been carefully looking for information about certain aspects of the game and I don't have any doubts anymore, I'm jumping in day one.

I always hated that in Mass Effect, that's disappointing for sure. If they did include as much content as they say, then it might have been too much to keep the old style (some conversations did go on for a long time), who knows. Hopefully it will manage to maintain its essence despite this issue.

The most logical solution is you can fast travel with it. Otherwise, it might work like the companions in the sense that it will go back to its original place after a certain period of time. I'm also hoping for a way to have it dropped in your location, we did see the character being picked up by a helicopter, so hopefully. I'm also wondering if you get a base suit that is yours to mod and it will never disappear.

So many questions, can't wait.

I wish we had more information about how the power armor works. There has to be a way to move it around without actually wearing it, otherwise it becomes as annoying as trying to take care of a car in a GTA game.

Also, crossed fingers for unique weapons and a perk that allows the player to repair weapons on the fly.

Three recent games come to mind: The Phantom Pain, Mortal Kombat X and Batman Arkham Knight. Three games that I anticipated for a long time, finished, and left me with nothing more than disappointment. I don't regret buying them, but I do wish I could play the games I hoped they would be.

Not always, but as someone that bought a 3DS primarily for Star Fox 64 3D, I sure hope so.

Oh I remember those sequences, it was great because you never knew how intense they were going to be, so if you didn't plan ahead you would run out of fingers very quickly. I loved that game, I need to play it again.
