Have you tried all of them? Any favorites so far?

He actually said the advertising cost was, and usually is, as high as the development cost. He also said EA didn't have mercy on them regarding their budget.

While that may be true, just because things are tight doesn't mean the whole process is efficient. Seems to me like EA just throws stuff against the wall until a game pops out. I'm willing to bet a better publisher could have produced the same result with less money.

I couldn't disagree more. What you're saying is that, instead of fixing the quests and rewards system, you want a digital scoring system? In other words, instead of making the game actually fun, you want the game to give you "20 points"?

The root of the problem you describe, which I do agree with, is that weapons can't be rewards because they're disposable. The game can't give you a good weapon after a side quest because it will disappear afte...

The game is a lot longer if you choose to not fast travel. At 90+ hours in I finally decided to take down my first divine beast, and I went with the Rito. It took me a lot longer to get there from Kakariko than the whole process of actually taking it down.

That might not even be necessary. The extra buttons and bigger screen would make it easy to keep the game relatively close to the 3DS version.

It's actually just two guys, Steve from accounting and Spunky the janitor.

Honestly, New Vegas would be great, if it were offered at a good price and performed better than on the PS3/360. It would help cleanse the palate after Fallout 4.

They would have to manage to do it all for a good price considering anyone can pop open Steam during almost any sale and get it for less than $5.

Then he should have done some more research before he bought it.

I believe people underestimate scalpers, not that Nintendo is innocent. Consider how eBay and Amazon's third party sellers never ran out. It's crazy how some of these low-volume sellers put up announcements like, "hurry up, only 12 left in stock". Twelve. That's one household essentially exhausting all of the local stock.

Much like the recent artificial gas crisis that hit some parts of Texas, we wouldn't have an issue if people were considerate an...

Not only that, but Nintendo already killed Club Nintendo, which was the best loyalty program offered by any of the big three. Why would anyone think that they would now offer rewards for achievements? If they add them, they will probably tie the system into some sort of community--at best, that's it.

We wouldn't have three consoles doing the same thing, if they got so similar only the best one would sell, which would incite the other 2 to be better. We need competition to avoid having companies drop the quality of their products. Xbox Live is the reason PS+ got to be a good value, and PS+ being a good value made GWG happen.

Nintendo doesn't feel the need to modernize because they're in their own field. What about the ability to manage your Switch save files...

That is very true, definitely not the same situation. That said, their Castlevania was so bad that I can't help but feel worried. It can come down to how the controls feel. I was watching some Metroid gameplay and the player appeared to have trouble hitting enemies, and it was hard to tell if it was because of crappy controls or an inexperienced player.

Seems like the game is shaping up pretty well so far, so that's great. I just wish Nintendo would take this more s...

That was fun while it lasted. Well, back to waiting for another Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I had a ton of fun with it. I played it on the hardest difficulty my first time around and it was intense. You die within a couple of hits and dodging becomes the key to survival. Great game.

Same here. It's so unfortunate they had to go down this road.

We have to vote with our wallets, it's the only way we might incite some sort of change. Perhaps one day we will manage to leave this behind, just like we did with online passes.

Agreed. The best insults are personalized; no one gets offended by "your mom" insults--maybe a couple of kids, you have to put some thought into it. That's why the insults you usually hear online are so similar, including stuff like gender, accents, race, age or nationality.

Ideally we would teach people a lesson, but we can't do that. The next best option is to move on. Learn how to mute other players, get a decent group of friends, and enjoy your game.

That's the new trend on Amazon, scammers trying to get as much money as possible by listing items at unbelievably low prices and using fake tracking numbers to cash in before they disappear with the money. Different from what we see here, but important to point out.

Next time you see the newest release going for $8.00 just know you're looking at a scam.

Yeah, or the games could cost $70, then we could wait a month, buy it for the same price as always and get everything. I would rather have a complete game that's actually fun.

At the end of the day, those extra $10 or $20 are far less valuable than the time I would waste grinding to get a thing in a video game. I'm willing to bet that would be the case for most adults, but it seems people lack the ability to look ahead.

I'm having that issue with the Slim model. Thing is, it wasn't that way, the video section was just fine, no lag. The problem started fairly recently. Earlier today, right after the update, the video section straight up refused to show the apps. It's incredibly annoying because the thing is full of apps that we can't remove/delete. I've also been experiencing severe lag when going back to the home screen with a game open.

I hope Sony doesn't go the ...
