Completely agree. Once you were done with a game, they gave you unlockables. Some games do do it still, but not in the same fashion. Even Smash Melee had some of the best hidden characters and ways to unlock them. Not to mention, symphony of the night's second half of the game, or the "thank you for playin! You can now play as (insert name)" it was a huge thing back then. The reward for completing the game or secret elements of the game has been changed to "Easter eggs"...
Read the article. He says this in his writing.
How could more games be wrong in any console situation? Bring em on. I cannot stress the simple fact of bringing these polished gaming experiences with you on the go. It really does appeal to those of us who want to continue playing the game that you have to leave home for. It's not a problem anymore. The shoddy controllers that they have made for the iPad and android devices were never fully realized. I'll be happy to re-purchase and re- play any of the good Wii U games that were m...
Nintendo is a smart company, despite their shortcomings. They either launched the console prematurely without knowledge that the supply demand for the parts they need we're going to be hard to get, or they just don't want to rush out their product and suffer from lack of quality. Either way, I got mine LOL.
(Sigh) most points are correct from each side. However, I'll just continue paying $30 for brand new games as my freind and I will gladly miss out on a few exclusives by getting two games for the price of one with game sharing on Xbox one. And to count DLC as an exclusive game, a biased article with gamers who have knowledge about all games releasing on their console of choice is just bad journalism.
Mama Mia!!!!!
If anyone actually read the article whos doubting the E3 showings, you will see that this article was talking about the struggle with nintendo and finding the convenience and joy having played the switch. Please just read it and stop commenting on their E3 presence on THIS particular article.
No one defends anything they don't like. Some people are optimistic, some are die hard. I'm a die hard, agree that 25 min is short. I agree they better show games for i this Switch so it will sell. But we have hope. Doesn't matter if you care or not. That's the excitement for us. Yea, we get let down but some of us also rely on other systems. I'll play my Xbox, enjoy it's games, and play the Switch when I lay down, or when I'm going for a business trip, or when I...
Wow, you must have never seen a direct. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can watch nearly any direct they have had in their past to confirm but, in usual Nintendo style, they have tons of "fluff" in the video. Once they announce a new game, they go into it in major detail. Do you remember Yoshis wooly world? That was nearly 10 min about the story behind its reveal. Bottom line, who knows what they are going to show in 25 min. I just hope it's game, after game, after game, aft...
Sometimes, but I just feel like their E3 one should be longer, tbh, one of their Smash for Wii U and 3DS directs was longer! Idk, just not a lot of time imo. Especially being a fan of Nintendo, I want as much as possible from this company.
Of course, but E3 is their time this year. Their directs are welcome, and usually are better than the Pokémon one they just had, but I just feel, among others, that this is there time to show, for the sake of the Switch. The smash bros for Wii U and 3DS direct was the best in recent memory. I hope they capitalize either way this year weather in Direct or E3 form. I just want some awesome announcements! Lol
I want new games, but I had a Wii U and I played most of the major Nintendo games on it. Super Mario 3-D World on the go would be awesome along with Super Mario Odyssey this year. I don't mind ports of great games. Being able to play those on the go is a treat. Just hope if we do get ports, the price of the overall game won't be 60.
Man, it doesn't give me much hope that much will be offered in that little of time. I'm sure hoping Nintendo gets it together cause if they announce anything new, it will almost definitely be for a short time, unless they bring a bunch of games to "demo" while they are there. Either way, E3 needs to have Nintendo show big.
Most of the "Nintendo fanboys" are thriving for a new Metroid. I know I am. It's such a good game and there's nothing like it. It's nostalgic. It's just a downright good series that needs to make a comeback.
Shadowsteal, who said I wanted Nintendo to do better? They will do what they want, it's their company and have stuck around for over 120 years. They know wtf they want to do, regardless of the norm. They are smart business people. The Wii proved it. Fanboy or not, most everyone's here bashing the way to chat with people, who the fuck cares? The option is there, in a ridiculous form, so be it. Don't play the switch.
MeteorPanda, well I guess we're going to see a surge in Vita sales apparently. 😂😂😂 ph wait, system is dead.🤔🤔㊂ 0; People are so naïve. I see nothing but people clamoring over how on Vita the chat is seamless and easy. But here's the reality, it didn't sell. It doesn't matter what features a system has, it's all about gameplay, and what appeals to you. Games sell systems, system dont sell systems.
People don't read I guess. Who said it was better or worse? I simply said it doesn't bother me. It obviously bothers people. And all my comments all I'm saying is it doesn't bother me. And apparently people who don't care about Nintendo, it really does bother. Which is quite funny. 😂
What good are those features, if no one's playing? The system is pretty much dead, people can say what they want about it had good games, but clearly nobody cared because it didn't sell well enough. Again, a portable console that is "doing it better" than the switch is attempting to do, no one cared about. A small fan base wasnt enough to keep that thing afloat. It's all about appeal, people can talk all they want, but Nintendo's portables historically sell better ...
_-EDMIX-_ you are clueless. If you've been in the scene since the GameCube days, people have said they should be a 3rd party company after sales were horrible for the system. If you also were informed, Nintendo has money. Billions and billions of dollars, even after the, financially, flop of the WiiU. This isn't nintendos first time in a low spot. Facts my freind. Either Nintendo will realize what decision they made about the headset is a mistake and fix it, or they won't and ju...
To that point, I love trophies and achievements, especially when they add them to oldaxhool classics. It adds more value to the game in my eyes where some old games could be Bergen in an hour, going for those achievements are awesome!
