@darthv72 Jesus Christ LOL, how on earth could you be downvoted for your opinion of the two games that are decent? This community sometimes i swear...
I’m having similar issues with base building, have had them since Next update, wonder if those will ever get addressed?
As much as i dislike GameStop and being begged for reserves and prp’s and everything else, I’m hoping they can change in such a way they stick around. All these big time places shutting down like Blockbuster and Toys R’ Us, it’s a sad reality. I order lots offline, but to be able to get it RIGHT NOW, there’s something special with that whole experience. Good luck GameStop.
I just hope it’s not like the New 3DS. Minor upgrades. Just go all out! I’m in! Take my money Nintendo!
Lol. These comments are interesting. Idk, maybe it’s just me, but Apple gets away with charging more for their products with minimal upgrades year over year, but Nintendo gets shunned for offering a new handheld at a reasonable price to play BOTW, Wolf 1 and 2, Doom, Mario Kart, and such awesome indie classics like Undertale, Iconoclasts, Celeste or Slay the Spire, just to name a few. I love my Xbox One X and have bought all the Wolf games on it, including 2 and thats the best way to experien...
@darthv72 says it right. Reviews should only be taken as a means of one persons play-through opinion. Not everyone’s opinions are the same. Some people cannot stand rogue-likes but they usually get pretty high scores. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, but some people don’t like that style. I think people read scores too much and not the whole article. I used to be one of those. The in depth time people put into the ins and outs of a review get pushed aside for the number/score. I mainly read revi...
I think it’s just the experience you had with whichever FF game. In my case, i got 8 when it was 20 bucks on PlayStation Greatest Hits. So it was my first 3D FF. I never played 7. Most people who played 7 didn’t like 8 and most people who skipped 7 say 8 was the great. It was grindy”er” than almost any other FF i think but 8 was really fun, with all the GF’s to collect, the card game, and the story was not all that bad, although somewhat predictable sometimes.
I wish they would fix the base building mechanics. Friends have visited my bases, and maybe they were too ambitious, but they would fall through floors, not see certain structures, it wouldn’t load correctly even for me. Even on the X, it struggled. It was a huge base but i remember them showing off how “high” you could build and that video is false. Unless I’m doing something wrong, it tore me away after 200 hours in.
Bring to switch? Yes i enjoyed this to no end. It was beautiful.
I still shop there. Pick up some of the random game related things i should probably not buy at my age lol, but, i do wish i could go in there without being ransacked with preorders, subscription, warranties on consoles and games. I understand they try to “help” with knowledge, but it’s overwhelming sometimes. GameStop’s in my area are now adding the 2 or 3 dollar warranty automatically to any game purchase and saying “with the product replacement plan on the disc/cartridge, your total comes...
I wouldn’t say the best. Definitely a good one. Some people aren’t going to be too happy about Mario, and maybe Yoshi. I feel like some will say that Mario’s another port and Yoshi is basically the same as the Wii U version. Both games may be incredible, with Mario being incredible from past memory. I’m happy with the line up, and what makes it better is thatsbjust what we know of. Nintendo always has a surprise with the directs so let’s see how it goes.
I’m loving the new smash, trying out all characters running through classic mode, and chopping away at World of Light. Can i say though, that I’m overly disappointed at the lack of modes? The characters are so unique and have such range that i miss the “dumb” little modes they had. Break the Targets, Home Run contest, All star mode, different types of multiman melee, special orders, just to name a few, are NON EXISTENT! Please don’t get me wrong, i love all the music, stages, and characters....
@eonjay, Nintendo fanatic here. Completely agree with your statement. Lol. Some of us do try and justify reason, and sometimes it’s valid. In this situation though, you are 100% right.
That’s what you get. Horrible business practices, treated employees based off of how many subscriptions, reserves, prp’s and warranty’s they got. Some people just don’t want to be bombarded with, “would you like to earn 10% off all used games and accessories? Any games coming out your looking forward to? Just $5 down will reserve you a copy! AND it goes towards the purchase of the game! Would you like to add a 2 year product replacement plan on your game disk or controllers?” Sorry, disgruntl...
2 of my friends who were on the fence literally went out and bought the switch and pokemon after seeing me play. The videos truly don’t do Pokémon: Let’s Go justice, it truly is a remake, not dumbed down in my opinion and I’m loving every minute with it.
Yea, really excited for this update. I’ve stepped away for some other games, but this just got me excited to jump in again, did i miss it but it doesn’t say when?
I could definitely watch more of this. Hope there are some decent cutscene work in the main game. Hoping for surprises in that game, more than what was announced at their directs.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but wow lol someone is mad! I mean, i will play in English, as that’s what i speak, but i wasn’t mad that they shared info about that. It was actually pretty cool, hearing the different sounds in different languages. Some people who are into anime might actually love this being able to have Japanese vo. Lol sheesh man, lighten up 😂
I mean Sony’s success is clear, but to say the Switch won’t perform well is purely speculation, don’t underestimate the power of Pokémon!
I just can’t trust this and even if it’s true, my lifelong loyalty is jeopardized due to such talented dev studios getting shut down. Yea it happens, but not to the likes of this. I’m all for Banjo, but Perfect Dark, Hi-Fi Rush, and other games from such talented people I’m more interested in at this point. I’ve had an Xbox since day one and when game sharing was a thing, i invested harder. I now would rather buy my games elsewhere. Hopefully Banjo gets the comeback it deserved but is availab...
