If they dont announce any game before E3 then its not likely to release this year. The only games that usually come the same year when they get announced at E3 is casual games. Which happen to be the only thing MS announced last E3.

The amazing part is that singstar ABBA has been out for several months and yet it outsells a recently released halo game from microsoft. That pretty much shows what position 360 has in norway. It is just where it deserves to be, comfortably sitting in last place. And as you might see from the list Norway is one of the few countries that didnt buy in to the Wii fad.
If only there were some track company like NPD that would list the numbers from all of europe in one chart. Think that would help to counter some of the fanboyism in here aswell. Most 360 fanboys think the NPD numbers show the exact state of the console war, which couldnt be further from the truth. PS3 released in 2007 in europe, 1.5 years after 360. concidering they are supposedly neck in neck in europe atm it means that PS3 has sold at almost twice the rate as 360 in europe... thats pretty ...
There is about 120 000 PS3s in Norway and about 4.5 million people. PS3 is pretty much dominating the market. Thats because us norwegians only buy quality products. Anyone buying a product with a 33% failure rate would be laughed at as an idiot. We know better then supporting companies who cant put reliable products on the market.

Wow MS just shot themselves in the foot. RE5 has sold more on PS3 so far, and FF13 is exclusive in Japan, so there is NO WAY whatsoever that it will sell more on 360. Most FF fans own PS3 u know.

The only game that got announced at this late point last year for MS was Gears2. Thats 1 game, not really incredible. If MS announce 1 more game for release this year then thats not gonna be enough. They need atleast 3 more good ones to be competing and even then id say sony has the upper hand. We already know Sony is going to announce atleast 1 more game for this year, R&C.

Street fighter sold almost as much on PS3 despite 360 having almost twice the install base in the US then the ps3. Guess its safe to assume SF4 sold conciderably more on PS3 worldwide despite releasing a year later.
And KZ2 with only 2 days of sales only 80k behind SF4. And the bulk of the sales for KZ2 will also be in europe where PS3 has a larger install base.
The most stupid thing with this article is that every price cut so far this generation has significantly increased the sales of the console droping price. Why would this suddenly not happen this time? Im surprised how many stupid game "journalists" there are out there. Gaming will forever be looked upon as kinda immature until the gaming media and comunity grow up.
Yea its to early to tell. Who knows, sony might want them to hold of the announcement until gdc or e3, just to give a little stab in the back to MS like they did last year with FF. Or it might be as simple as ME2 being timed exclusive to 360 in which case EA is likely to announce ME1 for release on PS3 this fall and ME2 will follow a year later.
Regardless ME2 is not hitting this year so MS still desperately needs some more games for this year. And ive heard rumors that MS dont ...
Not in a viable way no... because it would limit the game to the few amount of consumer having good enough pc to run it. And it would require a really really high end cpu to run. Because cell is more powerfull then most cpu's and this game is optimized for a system that only run games, not all kinds of other programs at the same time.
bringing up PC in these discussions is really stupid though. Because tecnically you could link together all the pc's in the world and create a mons...
None of your "imagine if"s are even remotely close to the imagine if there was no RROD. fact of the matter is that was an outrageous move by Microsoft. They wanted to be on the market first because they knew that was their only chance to compete with Sony. To do that they had to rush the system to the market and it was in a terrible state. In an idealistic world noone would have bought the 360 because that would be sending MS the only right signal, releasing unfinished buggy hardwar...
