What matters is how good the game looks. And that is a combination between artstyle and how good the graphic engine is. To say that how good the graphics engine is doesnt matter is pure and utter bullsh1t. And the best developers have both great art direction and great graphics engines(im looking at you Naughty Dog).
Gameplay in crysis is not bad. The nanosuit and the semi open world makes it a game that you can play in many different ways and you can change your own gameplay as you want it. The main reason why people say Crysis is nothing without the graphics is because the graphics are so damn good. That doesnt make the statement true though.
First of all its not a blow to sony as this engine is actually optimized for the ps3 so there will be no sloppy ports using this engine. Secondly this engine is highly scalable and supposed to be working with the next generation of consoles aswell. Does that mean that xbox360 is going to be able to run graphics on the same level as the next generation of consoles? Ofcourse not, but in hiphopgamers head it seems like it. Because nowhere has crytek said that the 360 will be able to run graphics...

I already know im going to enjoy infamous way more then prototype because infamous plays more like a shooter. You have to aim just as if you shoot a gun and you can use everything you climb on as cover and shoot while climbing. Prototype on the other hand use a lock on system. Just so there is no confusion, this game is 720p 30fps. GT5 is 1080p and 60fps. Which means GT5 wins by a long mile.

Well as far as i can see its not confirmed PS3 exclusive. It only says PSU exclusive in the article. But hopefully it will be an exclusive and take full advantage of the ps3.

Its because NPD only shows US numbers. And since both Wii and 360 has far more units shipped in the US its only natural that they have a higher online activity. Its not gonna look the same in europe.
well while time may be an issue, i think the biggest issue with R2 was that they tried to do to much. To much for that time frame atleast. i think they should easily be able to get out a r&c game within the same timeframe and give it more then enough polish.

Why? Because if they made it compatible with the other versions of DX they wouldnt be able to take full advantage of DX10. Most games today only take advantage of a few of the features in dx10. This is because they want the game to be compatible with dx9 aswell. Its just not feasible for a developer to take full advantage of dx10 and then support previous versions of dx.
No way its going to look as good as GT5. It might look good but GT5 often looks real.
secuROM is the bad guy, because it makes the product you buy in the store worse then the product you download for free from the internet. And the games are as easily cracked as usual.

Why do you think its UK only? The last LBP commercial had exactly the same style only it was about someone who's girlfriend broke up with him. That one went all over europe, dont see why this one wont when it says its a commercial for europe on media molecules site.
