They look the same to me, only 1 is darker then the other. But i noticed that the PS3 version had far superior framerate at the section where the water is going down the stairs. The 360 version is lagging while the PS3 version is silky smooth.
Uhm no. Sony had a deal with team bondi for 3 exclusives. Not Rockstar. They later made a deal with rockstar for the next big rockstar franchise. It was never a deal about 3 games.
After take two picked up LA noire there have been speculation that the game is no longer exclusive.
If you are gonna delay your game every time there is competition then you might never release it. Every game this holiday are gonna have a hard time against Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins Creed 2. But just because no game will beat them in sales doesnt mean they cant do well.
What really matters for the developers are that they stay profitable. 1 million in sales is usually enough to cover the expenses.
You are all wrong. The most popular first person shooter is by far Call of Duty.
I find it amusing how many people always mention bungie as one of the top 5 devlopers in the world. Among all the talented devs out there, Bungie has not proven their worth on such a list. They have been riding a wave of hype and advertisement from MS and with the help of a rabbid fanbase that would buy their game even if it was called halo: turd, they have become successful. But aside from Halo1 th...
I dont think its fair to say nothing on consoles will ever be close to Crysis seeing as we are still early in the console lifecycles. Having played Crysis myself id say that from a purely visual perspective games like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 are already close. And if you look at previous generations you would know that neither KZ2 nor Uncharted2 represent the pinnacle of console graphics. So i very much believe we will see games that are technically as good or atleast close to crysis. And ...
Nope, no way they are adding this to god of war 3.
"The prior article was pretty much going over how every year Sony lists about eight or nine AAA titles at the beginning of each year, only to end up releasing about three or four of them."
Hey if you are gonna brag about how your predictions came true they better atleast be true.
Killzone2, Infamous, MLB09, MAG, Uncharted 2, R&C, Demon Souls. I count 7. I thought you said 3 or 4? Oh i guess you were wrong all along then smartass.
"The team is targeting to create an equal experience on both the 360 and the PS3, so there are no limitations"
Ok i really dont get these guys logic. They say that there will be no compromise for the PS3 version and then they say they are targeting to create an equal experience on both platforms. If the PS3 version is compromised that would be because they want both versions to be equal. And now they are saying that they are trying to make both versions equal, and that ...
Well if you look at the tail lights on the BMW they obviously failed pretty hard. And when you look closer on the picture of the BMW you will also notice that the entire rear part of the car is lower then the real life counterpart, thus looking quite abit uglier then it should. I actually think Vasilisk is on to something here. My guess is turn 10 had to take some shortcuts to get this game done in time. Would explain why they are so much quicker then polyphony digital at making the games. Th...
lol some of the so called "real" car picks are actually cgi or atleast heavily modified.
Forza 3 looks very good but its not close to real life. It has a very distinct CG vibe to it. Gran Turismo on the other hand looks much more like real life.
Oh im sorry, i just tought it was a little lame of valve to release a 4 hour long game for 60 dollars 2 years in a row.
And no im not a part of the boycott
Criterion is right. But that doesnt mean everyone else is wrong. There is 2 different ways of saying a platform is maxed out. the first one is using all of the platforms processing power. This is basically what the EA person said. They use all the processing power in the 360 but not the PS3. The second way of saying something is maxed out, and arguably the most important one is that the code is written as efficient and smart as possible so that it not only takes advantage of all the processin...
Ehrm, no they are not that close technically. Uncharted 2 is far and beyond what Mass Effect 2 has to offer. Also, because some PS3 fans say they think GOW3 looks better then U2, does that mean we all agree? Anyone who claim anything else then Uncharted 2 having best graphics on the show has either not looked close enough on how f'in detailed Uncharted 2 really is, or they are living just living in denial. That being said, GOW3 also look far and beyond games like ME2 and it did at the very le...
Couldnt you atleast try to be a little less obvious? Every respectable gaming site has declared Uncharted 2 as best in graphics. SC wasnt even nominated here. Sometimes you just need to realise that you are wearing fanboy goggles and understand that you are simply wrong.
Aww damn. Sackboy is like the coolest figure you could ever dream of having. This is a mistake, they could sell gazillions.
I can guarantee you that most PS3 owners only have 1 PSN accounts. Its only the most hardcore audience that would get several accounts. Id concider myself one of those hardcore and i only got my second account yesterday.
Ehm no, sony has not stated that PS3 is TO complicated. They have said that its meant to be a challenge to get the most out of the machine. I dont see how you can translate that into sony saying PS3 is to complicated to develop on.
Actually this totally depends on how Crytek are utilizing the machines. From what i heard they said the PS3 version would be better with physics while the 360 version would have a slight advantage on shaders, which leads me to believe that they are not utilizing the cell for rendering and which again means that they can probably push more graphics out of the PS3 if they did, but this would affect its performance abit on physics etc. So if the graphics actually look the same or a tad better on...
Well Natal obviously had problems tracking kudo when he was showing the Avatar movements. Also i find it interesting that the cheaper solution they go for the higher risk there is for issues with tracking of dark colors. So basically while Microsoft will want to make the device as cheap as possible they will risk issues with the tracking. Lets hope they dont go the same route as they did with the 360, making it as cheap as possible and then get the RROD problem.
I noticed the same thing. So im kind of puzzled by all of this since clearly the PS3 version runs smoother. what is really all the fuzz about?
As for the color, just adjust the contrast on the screen and they will both look the same.
