Its a good thing though that Id has used alot of time to make the engine run smoothly on the PS3. Carmack even said the game might even look slightly better on the PS3 at certain points in the game.
The game runs at 60 FPS on consoles, basically silky smooth. Its build specifically with consoles in mind. Only difference on PC version will be higher resolution and more AA.
That being said, im probably getting it for PC myself for mouse and keyboard control

Yep, but the average N4G guy is not very clever. They never look in depth into anything. When Wii has alot of crappy casual games it automatically means that all motion control games will be bad regardless of platform.

Reason why Wii is so dominated by casual games is because it has weak hardware, games cannot be ported from 360/PS3 to Wii. Gamers want the hardcore games with the best graphics, it has little to nothing to do with motion control.
never has anyone (who would know) said that eight days and the getaway got canned because of eyepet. Infact if you think eyepet requires even nearly the same amount of developers as a game on the scale of the getaway you need to learn a few things about game design. London studio is most certainly working on several projects and they should be hard at work with games for the PS3 motion controller.
Some people need to understand what is not realistic and what is simply not possible. Killzone 3 being an impossible announcement, there is no way they will announce a sequel the same year they released the game. People writing stuff like this makes me go major facepalm.
They will probably show a few games for the new motion controller, im guessing a couple of games from london studios atleast. I also suspect they will announce release date for GT5 which should be at the end of the year, im guessing november.

There will always be someone who are unlucky, but making an article about it as if it in any way represent the reality is stupid. If you want to make an article you need to dig up the real numbers and not look at what happened to your machine

And since when did retailers start knowing anything about unnanounced release dates? They are almost always wrong. This is just speculation, yet everyone in here seems to think its a fact. Wait for word from sony, i think this will ship in late 09, but ofcourse you can never be sure
It really doesnt matter how many copies the game has sold in the US. The only thing that matters are worldwide sales and it has sold 2.6 million worldwide which is very good. And interestingly if the game had sold say 1.4 million in the US and still sold 2.6 million worldwide it would have been less profitable because Sony gets more cash from games sold in europe then in the US, but you probably wouldnt complain as much about the sales then, even though it would be less profitable.

lol funny because id is not your average crappy multiplatform developer. Installation on the PS3 is actually likely gonna be what makes the PS3 version superior to the 360. Not having to swap discs are just a bonus
